@@nottimhortons very true. Although I was speaking more about his own self reflection and sharing of himself. But yes, he does come across as caring about his guests although you definitely get the feeling sometimes that he is not as satisfied with the fluff conversation as he lets off.

@@craftygal4494 Missing from Drew's interview is the issue of Jimmy's fake laughing, something that puts many viewers off, and does so BECAUSE he appears less present in the interview, an indicator of going-through-the-motions-showbiz. I certainly didn't expect Drew to bring it up, and she really did bring out the best of Jimmy here, but I so wish she could have raised the issue, as it's at least 50% of what is said about Jimmy on social media and elsewhere. Jimmy is surely aware of the criticism, would be interesting to hear his thoughts on the matter, even if defensive.

What a great friendship they have. I never see Fallon act more real and connected than when he's talking to Drew. I wish I could be friends with them both! And she's right; he is a triple threat and he completely transformed late night TV into something I actually want to watch. Fallon = No arrogance. We need more of him!
