Awww. One of the things that stood out to me about Sean is his presence is just very pure. No affectation or pretension. I think that’s why everyone that comes on the show always seems to feel comfy with him. Also, it is so heart warming that he brings up Hackney’s restaurant and their fried onion loaf with guests from Chicago haha. I was raised in Chicagoland, and have lived in Chicago proper forever, but always assumed the hackney’s onion loaf was epic only to me and my family. Lastly, I too love letterman (and stern) so much. The way letterman in particular subverted the talk show genre back in the day remains utterly brilliant. I watch the old shows from time to time and the humor still feels smart and inventive.

Loved the interviewer drew did with him it was interesting to hear how she intentionally went for opening part in scream that was a smaller part even though she was a huge star to throw the audience off that anyone in the movie can get killed. By not being narcissistic and listening to his guest(s) and using his sense of self and being mindful of his guests body language really guides the show naturally without making it about him or propaganda. Sean is one of the people that have an original idea. I mean, you and the other celebrities practically have to answer the same "how did you feel about..." kinda questions from the n+1 interviewers, but he knocks you off of that course. I saw it in many of his episodes when the guest had that surprised face that "wow, this is somehting else, i didnt expect that, this is fun!" kinda glare, and im sure this is something that is not easy to do. I started to watch his channel when he had like... 200k or so subs, and now look at him and his team. over 10 mil. I wish him a long successful career.
