@@dexrow don’t be so sure that the raiders are worse. They have better depth than us and they have the best wr in the game or at least top three. They have a good run game and last time I checked Jimmy g didn’t get injured in the 2019 season.

@@yurichristian1789 Yes, and he didnt do much to make them better that year (But he didnt get hurt!). It was a slight increase at QB because we really didnt have anyone there. He really only had 1 good game against the Titans. Outside that his performance was not much better then Beathard, we just managed to squeak out wins the rest of the year (having his like 5-10% bump was just enough). Then 2018 he gets hurt after going 1-2. And 2019 we have a massive draft and set ourselves up for where we are now. So I guess we can thank Jimmy for getting hurt in 2018 so we could have a great 2019?

But I agree Davante Adams is above the 49ers WRs, but I would put Deebo (And if Deebo is back to 2019 form I would say he challenges Adams in the rankings) and Aiyuk above anyone else the Raiders have. Then CMC and Kittle round out their offense way better then what the Raiders have. Josh Jacobs is great, but who knows where his head is at now only getting a 1 year deal. And yes 2017 and 2019 were the only seasons where he played at all and didnt get hurt. He even managed to get hurt in 2016 playing only 4 games. The guy is fragile so he better hope the Raider's Oline is amazing.

What has been leaked this week from Papa is Lance was throwing many picks running the scout team. He was lost and non-functional...they benched Jimmy G to start lance last year before lance went down with an injury in week 2. Jimmy is likely referring to taking a superbowl contender and putting it in the hands of a non-NFL ready player in Lance.....We know why SF did it, but Jimmy G has a point...Lance was the worst QB on the roster and was starting only because of the draft capital invested in him.

Lance never looked ready because they never let him play. Niners drafted the most inexperienced QB in NFL history and expected him to develop on the bench…. Jimmy was frustrating to watch but he put up with Kyle for years, which is impressive. I wouldn’t even out the injuries on JImmy, Kyle gets EVERYONE hurt. 3+ QBs almost every year as a HC I think. Lance needed to play to get better. They decided to draft him so they should’ve played him from the start. Kyle should be fired for wasting 3 1st and a 3rd on Lance just like his dad did on RG3.

It wasn't weird how Trey was handled by the Niners. He was already given the starting job after the season was over last year. Trey was given the job even though Purdy was "better" during training and played better during the pre season. It was F'd up how JG was handled during off-season and before pre season of last year, however.

I was Jimmy’s big fan while he was with us, I still am somehow. But that decision was the best thing we could ever decide. I was against hiring Trey at the first place. We should’ve hired Justin Fields, that boy has future in his hand. But anyway, we’ve finally found our franchise quarterback and we all should trust him.

It was Jimmy G who led the niners to an 8-3 record - until he himself suffered a season-ending injury. You don't believe Kyle Shanahan doesn't regret not activating Jimmy Garoppolo for the NFC Conference Championship game? The niners actually had the NFL change the quarterback rule, because Shanahan still has nightmares about his decision.

I’m not saying jimmy or trey are bad, but jimmy my dude has had endless opportunities as stated above he just doesn’t perform when it comes to it. @@BradHolkesvigThey want the best qb to run Kyle's system. Bill Walsh moved Montana because he stopped listening to him. Walsh could tell you pre snap how to drop back where to look count to 3 and throw it here, and you would get a completion. He wasn't wrong when he said he could win with any qb who would listen to him. Jimmy G lost out to injury, which sucks and lance is not good enough to replace Jimmy G, Brock or Sam, he just hasn't proved it. 3 years in you cut bait because next year they won't even get a 4 for him. The big reason they like Brock though is he trusts his reads and his progressions. He can see the defense and he'll go where the offense says he should go. He rarely tries to free style and do his thing, he does what he's told and he does it very well. Which isn't a knock on Purdy at all, Montana was that way for 4 rings, and a lot of people still consider him the best qb to ever play.
