Jimmy, I met you in Athens Ga back in 2002. I was playing guitar with the John Fristoe Project (RIP John). We opened up for you and T Graham Brown at the GA Theater. Randall B sat in with us. We talked for a few minutes. I told you that Wet Willie was the first concert I ever went to, I think I was 13. I'm so happy to see you still out there doing your thing. Love ya man

It's hard to believe I am just now discovering the music of Jimmy Hall. What a voice, amazing sax and harp playing. What a force of nature. It's rare for me to disvover a living artist that oozes talent funky blues raw musical energy like he does. And damn did I mention his powerful soulful voice?!

You oughta catch their “blues cruise,” it used to be called “sandy beaches cruise” I think… if they’re still performing, it’s one heck of a show, tons of people playing all week, 24/7 on a boat, out in the middle of nowhere. From what I can remember, it was the best time of my life!
