In 2007 I was working in Australia...walked into a small record shop in Dalby or Toowoomba, Australia I don't recall. Picked up a DVD called Cold Chisel Live at Ringside and was turned on to some kick ass Aussie rock that I couldn't quit listening to. The heart and passion of the music that Jimmie Barnes, Ian Moss, Don Walker, Steve Prestwich, Phil Small put together was so passionate and well written (and performed) that I couldn't stop listening. Four Walls, Plaza Hotel, When the War is Over, Bow River, Breakfast at Sweethearts, Khe Sanh, and on and on gave me hours and hours of enjoyment. Throw a little American Joe Bonamassa in there with Jimmy Barnes and what do you get? Well just turn it up and listen. If you don't like it, you are probably not very talented, not very smart and definitely don't understand passion. Turn it up and enjoy life!

It's called a Humbucker. The best examples are Gibson PAF and Gretsch Filtertron.

I'm old. I've been a Chisel and Jimmy fan since the late 70's. This is my favourite song of his hands down. Bless you Don Walker.

Jimmy's daughter is Joe Bonamasa's best backup singer. Can't remember her name right now but she has some videos here too. I think she has been w Joe since his first album. I read that Jimmy's wife is also an amazing singer. I loved his daughter's songs

You're right Rick about the all round contribution, of course Joe is immense but his band is insanely good and Jimmy's vocals are perfect. Heartbreaking words by Don of course too

Imagine what he and Joe Cocker could have done together. And a little input from Pavarotti and Beth Hart wouldn't hurt Picture it.
