Color me 1989. We, GenExers in our heyday, were the last one to mske REAL music across the board. With the subsequent generations, you can count on your hand the real music makers. This song is 35 YEARS OLD, and it's still AWESOME. I remember watching old Motown acts with my parents and piblings in the 1980s. They reminisced about the music from the 1960s, their time in the sun. I told them I couldn't wait until my contemporaries grew up and did the same thing. They said that the verdict was still out . I'm so proud that they met and exceeded my predictions. I wish my family was alive to see I was right.❤

So ironic how this song actually epitomizes their journey! It was so surreal to become friends with one of my musical idols and a bonafide legend in the industry!
