Hi Jimmy, brilliant interview really enjoyed it. I remember seeing you in action at the opening of the new track at Belfield in Dublin in 1977! The race was called ‘the Morton Mile’ in honour of the great Billy Morton. You ran 3:55sec. and was pipped for third place just behind Wilson Waigwa with Coghlan second snd Walker first! I was there with your brother in law Noel, my brother, you really attacked the race and ran brilliantly. We were all very proud of ye! It was a great night and you were in the company of John Walker and Eamon Coghlan!
