Oh my word. So many things that he just said mirror my own life. I also accepted God my sophomore year in high school. I went from atheist to believing in a great savior, but not much changed besides accepting God. I also struggle with overeating. Most can't tell since I am 5'2" & 115 pounds. It's exactly what he said, I just want to do what feels good at the time, & I don't care about suffering the consequences. This is such a reality check. I can change my ways, I just need to truly know God.

The element that a lot of people are missing and it leaves the void is the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire that John the Baptist said Jesus would baptize believers with. Carnal men have explained it away so people hungry God don’t know what is missing. Read John 7:37, the verses before and after. Read Acts chapter 2 (Beginning of the Church in Jerusalem) and Acts 10 ( Beginning of the Gentile Church). It’s in your Bible. This is very good! I love the song!!

I m so thankful that God changed the way you view the world. However, you mentioned that after Moses came down from the mountain with the two stone tables inscribed with the terms of the covenant ( 10 commandments) Moses saw the people worshipping idols and then Moses removed his earrings and melted and bowed down to the idol. Sorry this information is incorrect. It was Aaron, Moses’ brother,who melted the gold.
