A live performance of Kashmir, by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant with the Egyptian orchestra leaded by Hossam Ramzi. This is from the No Quarter: Jimmy Page & Robert Plant Unledded DVD.
While it plays in 720p HD, it's a rip form a standard DVD resolution, still way better than the original video I uploaded.

I miss musicians like this so much. I’m not mad at today’s music, I even enjoy it a lot. But nothing, absolutely NOTHING will EVER compare to the feeling this type of music gives me. Rock made like this, at a visceral, spiritual and emotional level, doesn’t have a match in today’s music in my opinion. There’s just nothing being done that resembles this. There’s great music, just different. Also, the level of skill and physical/cerebral synchrony put into just this one song…just blows my mind. Had I been there, I would have definitely cried of emotion.

@@millmoormichael6630 bollocks. I love Bonham as much as the next guy, but this song is 'driving through kashmir' - it's meant to have a sense of forward movement, regardless of what lies ahead - that sense of dread, but we keep pushing on toward it. Also reference No Quarter. And for the record, that drummer, Michael Lee, was the best drummer the UK ever saw after Bonham, which is pretty much why those guys got their hands on him. I love watching him, but he was lost in 2008. For someone that doesn't know their musicians or their zeppelin, you have bold opinions.

Truly an incredible performance. As I write these words, an unspeakable butchery is taking place in Gaza and I am very happy to note that music is the only language capable of uniting all people without hatred. Happy to also see that they found a worthy replacement for Paul Bonham, the power of this drummer is exactly what this group needed.

Jeeezzz!!!

Greetings from Egypt glad you loved it. I hope this gets revamped with a music band from Egypt today it would be on a whole different level. Now and during the 70’ we were using much heftier rhythms with much more oomph and slower. In the 80’ and 90’ we used light and fast rhythms these are less suited for such a song. I could only imagine what it would sound like with “wahda kebera” rhythm

Flew in a rickety little plane over the volcanos with craters full of the most amazingly blue water. Learnt so much and took many photos but nobody is interested. This was before the train. I was going to continue to Kashmir and Northern India but my eldest very protective son who is a guitarist tricked me into returning. Love you guys. My daughter was made the night of your concert at Western Springs and she is special magic. Thanks for all the years of pleasure and may joy and compassion surround you all. .

❤❤Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face And stars fill my dream I'm a traveler of both time and space To be where I have been To sit with elders of the gentle race This world has seldom seen They talk of days for which they sit and wait All will be revealed Talk in song from tongues of lilting grace Sounds caress my ear And not a word I heard could I relate The story was quite clear Oh, baby, I been blind Oh, yeah, mama, there ain't no denyin' Oh, ooh yes, I been blind Mama, mama, ain't no denyin', no denyin' All I see turns to brown As the sun burns the ground And my eyes fill with sand As I scan this wasted land Try to find, try to find the way I feel Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace Like sorts inside a dream Leave the path that led me to that place Yellow desert stream My shangri la beneath the summer moon I will return again As the dust that floats high in June We're moving through Kashmir Oh, father of the four winds fill my sails Cross the sea of years With no provision but an open face Along the straits of fear Oh, when I want, when I'm on my way, yeah And my feet wear my fickle way to stay Ooh, yeah yeah, oh, yeah yeah, But I'm down oh, yeah yeah, oh, yeah Yeah, but I'm down, so down Ooh, my baby, oh, my baby Let me take you there Come on, oh let me take you there Let me take you there❤❤
