Your right Jimmy Ruffin is one most Underrated Motown artists of all time. However he's one of the most talented artists of all time. Berry Gordy said that What Becomes of the Brokenhearted is one his personal favorite songs and he also said that Jimmy was a phenomenal singer.

I know right I learned that After his brother David Ruffin had died in 1991 from a drug overdose Jimmy became an Anti Drug Advocate. Plus Michael Jackson paid for David's funeral ⚱️ plus David's last Song before his death was called Hurt the one you love. When Jimmy had celebrated his 77th birthday 🎉🎂 he wanted to do one last Album before his Retirement so he went to Motorcity records and Created his final Album called The Soul Sound of Jimmy Ruffin where he sung all his early songs for the final time a new way especially his two Hit Songs both What Becomes of the Brokenhearted and Hold on to my Love. He even sang one last Song called One In a Million. By 2014 Jimmy was Gravely ill and his family had rushed him to the hospital 🏥 where he stayed in intensive care for a few months till his death on November 17 2014 Jimmy Ruffin had Died and two of his Children Philicia Ruffin and Ray Ruffin aka Jimmy Ruffin Jr reported their father's death to the News media. Jimmy was buried in Las Vegas cemetery 🪦.

Middle-aged people listen to this great music and watch this handsome, well-dressed, articulate Black man oozing with Black pride and think "where has all the great music gone"; young people listen to this and the only thing they can think to do is use the "n" word and mention Kanye West for effect. The generation gap is officially insurmountable.

It didn't matter to her, from Louis Armstrong, Jim Reves, Elvis, The Temps, The Beatles was alway playing at our house. She did put her foot down when I wanted my name changed to John..lol Yes because of the Beatles..lol She knew that when it was The Ed Sullivan, Johnny Cash, Hee Haw, Smothers Brothers shows we would all watch it.. I once fell in love with a girl so deeply that I felt my life and heart would end when we broke up, but after many years, I realized it was merely puppy love from an immature boy of 15. Most people experience broken hearts at some point in their lives & for many other reasons. I wish it were different. But there is always tomorrow, there is always another love, and time heals many things, but not all. Life can be tough & hard but to have loved & be loved is the greatest gift that life can give. After 51 years of marriage I have been blessed by the good Lord above so much more than I deserve. I'm amazed every day at the uniqueness & inner beauty of my woman my wife.
