That's a perfect replica, private age related plate and rear panal changed are often give aways. Seen a few reps on wrong plate or standard rear panal. Lovely car and agree that exhaust needs changing at some point. Great video

Ahhh man this brings back memories. I loved my white supersport so much back in the day I drove it round for 6 months with “wanker” sprayed across the side in big black rattle can spray and the back window smashed ! (Girlfriend problems,don’t ask 🤦‍♂️). I couldn’t afford to get the glass done or get the paint done but loved it so much I just kept driving it 😂. Good old days lol. Eventually moved on to a mk1 Xr2 followed by a handful of fast fords. I’d love one now !

Absolutely perfect Mk1 that.Supersport looks but wouldn't feel guilty playing about with it.I had a Mk1 1.1 sport that ended up a 1.7 crossflow..I want it back now!!

I used to have Xr2 Mk2 Motorsport Fiesta I'm sure it was 2.0l also. It was Black with Red Pinstripe, original not too many made i think like 200. At the time of owning it in my teens, there were less than 10 registered on the road and mine was one. I just loved upgrading it with many parts including a Big Bore 4, K&N, new Axel's to house 5 spokes as they came with standard 4 nut pepper pots and 5 spokes back then we're 5 nut. It was a project and my dad was a fast ford head having escorts, sierra cossy and he even had a p100 with a cossy dropped in it, it didn't end well lol. Our plan was to give it a Escort RS Cosworth engine. If i got to do this it would have been the first of its kind in the UK with that engine. My project failed due to personal issues. Years later I came across one fella on KZbin, who had the same car modded originally a motorsport and turned into a cossy, I could have beaten him to it and I wish I had because I would have kept the original engine too.

I used to own a MK1 xr2 and it was tuned and was the best fun car i ever had. The big bore exhaust I had was a PCS system and it sounded beautiful, I don't know if they still make them as I had the XR in the 90s but they were heavy duty kit and they fitted beautifully. If you could find a rear system made by PCS and get a manifold made it would be perfect for this car.

I had one of these as one of my first cars white with grey stripes it had a xr2 engine in it but u can tell xr2 shells from the normal as they had a bulge under the rear bumper on the left to fit the pepper pot alloys Adam is doing well now sponsored ads garn lad git up ❤ it u deserve it mate absolutely love the channel and the cossie as I ha e previously said I had a magenta sapphire and my dad had a moonstone blue rs500 I was 21 im now 47 so a bit ago I have a had allthe Sierras 4x4, xr4i, 2.0 4x4, cossie and replica big fin but it was red just a old 2 door 1,6 then escorts too much to mention keep up the excellent work Adam

I get it V8s sound awesome so do V6/straight six & 5 cylinder V10 V12 etc but a sorted four cylinder has its own unique awesome soundtrack. Really tidy MK1 Fiesta, love it!!

We get watered down versions here in the US . imagine that ,I've got to make it over and hit some vintage rally racing. What people can do is get a straight 4 out of older cars / junk yards and put on turbo(s) I used to see escorts all around,I haven't seen one in a dog's age...you guy's buying them up 😜

i had a white supersport which i bought out of the LOOT paper back in 2001, i gave £170 for it and bought it off an old lady who had it for years, she was only selling it cheap because she had bought a new car, i cleaned it up and polished up the rs alloys with autosol and sold it for 600 quid

had a supersport briefly spent an age looking for one (grey and black decals on silver ) and it turned out to be a pig the valve seals were gone which got worse when i added a full janspeed system so got rid early doors and took a good hit on the full exhaust. bought the manifold back only to find that i needed a manifold too all left a bit of a bad taste

In 1983 my first car was a Supersport in exactly the same colour combo as this. MLS 50W provided many a great road trip with no speed cameras to spoil the proceedings. Must be a real hoot with 180 horses instead of the paltry 66 that it came with as standard.

Put an escort rs turbo cvh in a Mk1 Fiesta years ago. Used a 1.1 bravo car was mint but made it look proper sleeper. Had 2.5inch pipe exiting out the bottom of 1.1 peashooter back box even put few holes in the down turned tip so it could be felt when running.
