great video and great series about Georgian wine! I wanted to comment about Kakheti and flatlands, actually very few vineyards are on actual flatlands. most inner Kakheti, both sides of Alazani are devided into three different areas depending on their corresponding mountain range. first one is obviously closest to actual mountains, on this range you get brown soils also known as old alluvial with almost no sediments, no stones etc. these ranges are by the mountains, on the right side of Alazani we have Gombori/Tsivi mountain range and on the left we have Caucasian mountains. second is where most vineyards are located and this is where the most alluvial soils are because it is an actual slope and a significant one at that and third one is an actual flat land (the one shown on a photo in your presentation) which is literally by the river Alazani. soils here are darker and understandably more rich, which isnt optimal for vines… so I would say 80-90 of Kakheti vineyards are actually on slopes of sorts.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to give such a detailed response. I'm happy to hear this kind of feedback from you! and I will make some adjustments for future videos when describing these particular PDOs.
