Yes there are a lot of powerful people involved, politicians, police, all kinds of people in positions of power. Recently on the news it was said that Leon Britain and Ted heath were not paedophiles, and Leon Britain had suffered at the end of his life because of the accusations, but there is an ex police officer on the Internet, who talks about him having Leon Britain bang to rights 3 times when he was in the force investigating paedophiles, and everytime, the officers involved in the case, were told not to pursue it any further, and were actually threatened, some of the documentarys about powerful people being involved in this kind of thing, are hard to believe but there are too many people who know things, and are witnesses or victims, for it all not to be true, and they should face justice for their crimes.

I once met Jimmy Saville in the late 60's at a cycle race at Heaton Park near his flat in Prestwich. One of the lads asked him if he was riding that day to which he replied with a lewd comment he had been 'riding all night' and was too knackered. Coming on top of very recent scandal regarding him and a young actress on Coronation St his attitude disgusted me even back then. He always tried to act as 'one of the boys' but he was quite easy to through and was only popular with his own 'knowing' entourage or sycophants. I disliked the guy intensely.

The problem is... Police do not have authority to punish people or speak a prison sentence. They have not the liberty to even investigate the situation. Police needs a legal paper and a green light to investigate. The green light has to be given by another one higher in charge. But in this case this monster had connections with higher placed people with power. I think this people could of have had selfpreserving interrests to brush things under the carpet. Some higher placed people have also perverted interrests and other things going on. Nurses have also to follow orders. It is to complicated, but this man was saved by its connections. He just must have had a lot of 'goods' on a LOT of higher ups. A knighthood for such a treacherous creature is unbelievable. And it came to pass. King and Country, you must be joking!!

Good on her. It's a murky business and dangerous. I spoke up for someone once and she got cold feet and left me posted. The harassment I copped was unreal. I d hesitate to do jt again.

David Icke has lots of weird views on the human race but when it comes down to practical non-esoteric matters he is 'DA MAN. Icke has often said take what you need and disregard what you don't and that's what I do when listening to Icke. Sorry, but he does have "something", an uncanny instinct of his surroundings.

It looks as though the staff were complicit, once again. Some of the girls did report the abuse (eg, Deborah Cogger), but their complaints were dismissed. The more strident complainants were put into isolation until they recanted.

Now I guess we have a better understanding of how people's hands were tied, the inequality between men and women in the workplace back then and how futile it would be to try to expose Savile. At least she tried.
