I love the way the Japanese crowd here (which is huge) knows this song instantly from its very first phrase and roars their approval. And then they continue to react and enjoy throughout. Great stuff. Japan is a great country for jazz and jazz musicians.

I am very sorry to hear that your country has had to endure a catastrophic earthquake this week. I hope you are okay and you get through it stronger. Are there many Hammond organs in Japan? Also, as many organs as we have in the USA that aren't being played, our tendency is to keep them around for someone who does (do you?). You can get many great organs for very little here. I've Invested $500 in my whole collection- M3, Wurlitzer 4500,625t&46'Orgatron, Farfisa FAST4,Thomas Palace III & 263.

+Ray Banicki I'm not republican, ...& not american! I remember that the president who abolished slavery in the USA was a republican, & that a bunch of democrats are huge death penalty fans ( I'm sure not) & what a bout the democrats in the deep south, where" things didn't not really change") . Narrow minded people are so boring. & yes, f**** if they know who Ahmad Jamal is! Sorry for approximative english, & thumb up #2.
