Perhaps the greatest 6 man team ever! Superfly Snuka, Ivan Koloff and The Crippler Ray Stevens! (managed by Gene Anderson no less!!!)

You sir, are awesome - thanks for another excellent upload! This has to be the six man tag team match that the announcers referenced in a previous Roddy Piper vs Don Kernodle upload. I’m really enjoying this classic Mid Atlantic footage. 👍

*David Crockett actually sounded like he knew what he was talking about on commentary. When he was teamed with Tony Schiavone, he always sounded drunk. 🤣😂😂🤣*

Someday Dewey Robertson would grow up and become Missing Link.

A lot of Canadian talent here. Dewey Robertson, Ron Ritchie and Ivan Koloff are from Canada and George Wells was a star football player in the CFL for many years. Later in 1982, Ray "The Crippler" Stevens and "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka would have a bloody and violent feud in the WWF.

David Crockett did a decent job commentating compared to his later work on tbs.

It was around this time that I first saw George Wells. By the time he got to the WWF in 1985 he had put on a considerable amount of weight and was kind of shitty, therefore had forgotten how athletic he was and how much potential he had to do great things in the business

Stevens & Snuka would have a vicious feud a couple of years later in the WWF. Wells I remember he replaced JYD as the big babyface, but Vince pulled him away to his growing carnival in late 1984 and he became squash fodder. I still remember WrestleMania 2 with him frothing at the mouth at the hands of Jake The Snake Roberts.
