This is very helpful, I was googling this but the directions in many sites were very vague. They didn't specify to di the wrapping in the middle of doing the stitch and not after or before. This cleared that up

Oh my God, I can’t believe for some reason on the double wrapping stitch I was able to follow and then I was also able to drop the stitch on the next round but for some reason now I think I might’ve dropped a stitch and did not knit it. Is there a video that shows how to save it?

Such a helpful video. Just wondering it a pattern says k4 wrap 4 times, is that for each stitch? There is nothing in the pattern glossary and I've had no response on ravelry to my question

Hi there! So, if the pattern says, "k4, wrap 4 times," then you'll need to knit 4 stitches, then after that 4th stitch, wrap the yarn around the needle 4 times. Eventually in either the next row/round, it should say to drop these wraps and pick them up like they're 1 stitch. What those wraps do is make a super long stitch that will be worked probably about 4 rows/rounds from where we're doing the wraps. However, being able to read the entire row/round instruction will help to give context. Feel free to email our Bean Aimee at aimee@jimmybeanswool.com and she'll be more than happy to assist you! :)

Hi Sally! For knitters who use English style knitting, knit and purl stitches wrap the yarn around the needle differently. This video might help you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5zGhGmMnrKXptU

I wish the camera focused more on the stitches. It is difficult to see.

+Barbara Healy I am wrong. After viewing again, I can see the stitches very clearly.
