To go from an aspiring sim racing content creator living in a literal shed, to living in his own house, with a nice car, racing in actual series, and still simming with the best in the world including real drivers, makes me feel so proud that someone so kind, caring, respectful, and dedicated got what he deserved to have in life. So proud of you Jimmer!

I've only recently discovered this guy's channel, but I've come to love him to bits. As a racing fan for more than 20 years, I love your immersion and love of the sport. A channel like yours dedicated to the purity and unbridled excitement of old school racing and especially the older circuits and cars wasn't even imaginable 10 years ago, so I'm just loving your content. Long may you continue.

For all the shed jokes it's easy to throw the first stone. His life isn't hurting anyone. Unless you have been born very fortunate and have had some luck in life things like this can happen to anyone. At one point I had racked up a ton of debt with school and cars and didn't want to walk away from the debt and pass the buck and wasn't going to ask my parents for help other than asking them if I could keep one car in their garage. So for 2 years I lived in a single wide trailer while working a salaried job and paid off every penny. Since that time almost 20 years ago I have gone times with plentiful money and times where things have been lean. Keep your head up jimmer. Just don't get complacent and keep pushing forward. You're doing better than a lot of people.

Quote: '...mediocre...' There's nothing mediocre about being THE best sim racer and doubly nothing mediocre about also producing THE best videos on the subject. I've yet to find a single one of your presentations that wasn't absorbing, inspiring, educational, fun and, not least, so darn frustrating because I'm always forced to accept that I'll never get anywhere near your skills with the wheel and pedals, not to mention being able to describe every significant moment in detail whilst doing it. Many thanks for those videos and for the tour, Jimmy!

It's funny. I expect that, what, 21 months ago when this was posted most people who watched it will have thought to themselves: "man, I'm glad my life's not like that, living in a shed. I done good", but now you're the guy that raced live on Sky, the F1 channel, etc. etc. against a bunch of current F1 drivers and even beat a World Champion driver. Amazing. You found something you loved, shared it with us, and it took you to great places. You done good, Jimmer.

Lol I literally lived on the street and went through trash cans. I literally lived in 650k dollar homes and was fed high class meals. I traveled and did random garbage things. Lived with my dad in mid 20's, who knows, maybe it'll happen again! I carried my computer down the street to hide it somewhere safe because I didn't know where else to put it, one day. I earned money and spanged for money (panhandling). I've flown signs, and also sold business deals. While homeless, I also had like 3 jobs and side gig's, while ALSO selling stuff. I've literally had NO job and stayed in a home for years. WHO THE HELL CARES You can't tell me different, that shed looks pretty chill to me.....
