Well, it makes sense. Archons are beings with divine mentalities and abilities but Furina did everything having the flaws and weaknesses of a human. I just wish we'll get to see Furina accept that there are still more people in Fontaine that is grateful to her and still loves her. It's clear that Focalor's trick became public knowledge soon after, or at least the most important people know about the truth. After the Archon Quest, Venti, Zhongli, Ei, and Nahida all had something to say about Furina after all. Zhongli even said that even if the Hydro Archon's throne is no more, Furina would surely be remembered as one of the greatest Archon.

Don't worry everyone in Fontaine knows, if you go in front of the Opera House pretty much all the NPCs are talking about Furina, how much they miss her and how she sacificed her divinity to save them. The couple praying by the fountain say they still pray to her because of all she did

Being in the same district as the blacksmith, sure, I'd agree, but I doubt it's directly next door, and it's doubly dubious that it would be the short trip it is for us ingame. Of course, the hydro dragon will hydro dragon stuff, but I doubt it's such a short trip even for most vision wielders. Neuvillette making it in similar time by going all-out with his full power seems reasonable, but I don't imagine the man who competes with Zhongli in stoicism is going to spook the neighbors with the disturbance such a display would cause just to say hi to his old fake boss.

Im curious how they will approach her second chapter, in 4.5 - 4.6. What's very interesting about it is that during second chapter of archon' story, we usually unlock a new weekly boss (Azdaha for Zhongli, Shogun for Ei, Apep' guardian for Nahida), which could be an interesting setup considering how Furina tries to live a life of a civillian right now.

Bro, I wanna say one thing :) At the release of Fontaine (4.0) , we saw Furina introduced in the Archon quest Act 1 and because of her various characteristics and behaviour many people laughed at her (including me) I used to think that is she really the Hydro Archon ?🤔 Same scenario in 4.1 too.. But after the release of this 4.2 and doing whole Archon Quest , my mindset towards her literally changed , literally sometimes feel emotional and sad remembering that scene when she cries in between scene conveying her years of patience and how much she suffered… Now Happy to see her free 😄 And yeah hoyoverse has done a great job in this detail 1:02

I didn't laugh at her, but was annoyed because I hate the type of personality she played with all my heart but in 4.1 I've noticed something was wrong with her and decided to settle down before 4.2, since the gnosis wasn't in her or Neuvillette's bodies and I assummed it was in the Oratrice for gaining energy (surprisingly I was right about it, even though I don't watch/read theories and try to think with my own head instead which I'm not very good in doing xD) so I was waiting and cleared the 4.2 archon quest immediately to finally find out about it all Well played, mihoyo, you tricked me I'm happy to meet her real personality and I'm happy to see her recovering, because, myself, I wouldn't be able to bear such duty for even a couple of years, but she was very strong and dedicated for all the Fontaine people ❤‍🩹

I actually did this, too. Once the Archon Quest was cleared, I went to the Fountain of Lucine to see if Furina had anything new to say, maybe expressing relief that the prophecy was averted. Sadly, it doesn't look like HoYoverse put that in. A shame. It would have been nice to hear her say something about it.

I think they didn't put it because in the Archon quest, it's stated that tears contain the strongest emotion of a person (that's how traveler able to see what's inside Furina's mind during final arc) And basically all the waters in Fontaine lead to that fountain, that's why Furina's crying can be heard. After she no longer cry, the voices stop. I guess they just want to be consistent with the tears story thing

After the worst of the prophecy was averted (that being the people of Fontaine being dissolved by the Primordial Sea), Furina can finally let out all of the emotions she had pent up over the centuries, and finally cry tears of relief that it's all over.
