My DiResta GIANT Razors… Now LIVE HERE: imakeny.com/pr...
Enter My Giveaway: vy.lc/423449tqwrh
In my latest project video I restore and install an old safe door that I salvaged from a Mongers Market In Bridgeport Conn. in April of this year. I got this old safe door for only $400! I was thinking of the best place to install the restore safe door, and with winter on the way ..my shop has only the large overhead door, so I figured this was a good opportunity to finally install a much needed man door with a cool factor! I hope that you enjoy this restoration project; I think that this old safe door turn out very cool - Enjoy!
Thank You To my sponsors!

I am impressed that sheet metal siding and a little bit of lumber supported the weight of that door.

Sidenote: if you want to break into Jimmy’s shop don’t fuss with that safe door. You can sawzall thru the sheet metal siding in about 4.2 seconds.

You just hold your pinky finger along the edge and stay steady.. If you were to look at it closely, you could tell that he still has a lot of flaws... but That's what I like about it the most--- just whip it up and go with it; there's no need for it to be perfect.

I have seen a number of similar vault doors hit the dumpsters on demolition jobs. Nobody but me wanted them...and I had no way to move them or place to store them. I also saw a number of large safes (5'-6' tall x 3'-4' wide) meet the same fate. They would have made great conversions into gun safes or just home safes. Space not being an issue. Glad you saved that one.
