That monkey pod is some good looking wood.. My parents purchased a home from a guy in the military and he brought some monkey pod back from S.E. Asia.. He had all the kitchen cabinets and bar made from this wood... Again table turned out beautiful.. thx for sharing J.D...

Very nice! That wood is incredibly beautiful. With those skates, use some 5/8" bars through the holes to keep them aligned. If you're moving something really heavy, use threaded rod with nuts on either side.

A beautiful table! You could cut a single slow with a saw into that plywood underneath. That would give it some side to side flexibility while still supporting the weight of the slab. So it can move when the wood expands.
