Thanks Jimmy for sharing! I rarely post but this one just hit something in me. Jimmy, what I truly love about all your work is how you are so efficient. Every move and action has a purpose that often times isn't reveled until later. As an engineer, I have been cursed with paralysis by analysis. What you show me in all of your videos is how precise crude can be. How thoughtful "simple" fixtures and templates (and a little spray paint) can create something complex. I find all the stuff you make incredible. Thank you for sharing your years of hard work and experimentation with us. It lights a fire in me. And it opens our minds so we all can be creative at a whole new level.

Wow thank you sir!!! I wish I could be more precise but it is not in my genetics. I keep trying. Respect!

It was cool, in the down shot of the hinge being welded to watch the sweep hand on the clock on the wall. I thought about mentioning the huge nut but knew there was no way other posters would be able to pass it up. I've got a little tool envy as well. Really nice video and good idea for it's purpose.

Exactly what I was needing! You model is strong, light, and has good appearance. I will make the exact same ones and paint them gray, thank you! pd they just need those plastic foots that fit into the tubings so they don't scratch the floor. The MP210 seems like a really nice unit. Very little spatter coming off the weld. Maybe its the fast playback speed, but the noise seems to be very quiet too. Nice interface on the control panel, although I hope its available in metric.

It's always interesting to watch other people work, and your vids are so easy to digest. It's not just the "big picture" of the finished projects, but those individual steps along the way that make me say "Damnit...that's smart." Why the hell have I never thought to use a freakin' rattle can template when cutting steel?! I'm sure as $#!+ doing it from now on.

God I find it funny when the only thing people can trash talk you about is the watch you wear and the stamp you use. It's honestly pathetic, because when it comes down to it, your craftsmanship and attention to detail is brilliant. Too bad none of the people trash talking will sit down for a video and actually see how entertaining you are! Anyways, I've been subbed for quite a while and I'm still loving the content you create! Probably not an issue, but I noticed the frame of your band saw flexing at around the 3:50 mark. If you watch the rear wheel area you can see it moving fore and aft with each cut. Again, probably doesn't affect the cut, but if something is loose, I'd hate to see you hurt or the saw damaged if it collapses. Thanks for sharing your videos.

hey Jimmy, i don't have a Band saw nor a table saw. what should i get first ? btw that saw stop table saw is very expensive. is it worth it or can i get a 500euro saw and just be carefull with it ? greetings from austria !
@mckenziekeith74349 жыл бұрын
+R. E. Mathe, maybe Jimmy will answer you. If not, I would say jigsaw first, then circular saw, then bandsaw, then tablesaw. If you clamp a guide to the workpiece, you can get a pretty straight cut with a circular saw, so that can allow you to hold off on buying the tablesaw. With the right blades, a jigsaw can cut almost any material, except maybe hardened steel.
@R3mProductions9 жыл бұрын
***** thank you very much keith, i already got a jigsaw and i thought about getting a circular saw but i want a table saw to be able to cut smaller i.e. 2x2cm bars and finger joints (the fast way, i know u can do it by hand ;)) so u think i should buy a bandsaw before getting a table saw ? what brands do u recommend (that u can buy in europe) ? thanks again for your reply ;)
@mckenziekeith74349 жыл бұрын
+R. E. Mathe I am not an expert. But it sounds like you should get a tablesaw for that type of work. I can't help with advice about which brand. Sorry. The tablesaw is a dangerous tool. It is not a matter only of being careful. But also using safety features of the saw. On youtube, most people do not use blade guards and splitters or riving knives. But these can definitely make the saw safer. Happy wood-working! If you are not already, you should subscribe to Matthias Wandel on youtube.
