Dana-Farber Patient Perspective, Chuck Stravin

In 2015, when he was 48, Chuck, a dedicated father of four daughters, was diagnosed with advanced (stage 4) renal cell carcinoma or kidney cancer. Seven years later, Chuck has undergone multiple surgeries and participated in numerous clinical trials and has now directed his passion, energy, and drive to serving as an advocate for Dana-Farber. His efforts have raised awareness for increased funding, research, and advancements for patients with kidney cancer.
