Some of my all-time favorite segments. Especially Jimmy and his father. Wife musta been cutting onions cause it got a little misty in here . I miss my Dad. Been gone since '86. Another great show. Thank you.

Happy for you and your Dad, Jimmy! My father was not an outdoorsman so he never hunted with me and passed 27 years ago. I envy you this experience.

Pigeon river country is a great area. My wife's grandpa was the managing forester back in the day for the Pigeon River State Forest. Great to hear Jimmy's family owns a cabin near by.

Lol the good old sharp finger hunting knife....I love mine, I got it from my dad at my first deer camp. But as time goes on I leave mine at home and I use my dad's sharp finger he bought back in the 1970's. Hunting knives have stories to tell, just like the old deer hunting guns that have been touted around the great state of Michigan by the mentors that got us into hunting...I've found a bit of peace after my dad passed thinking he would want me to keep adding to the stories and take his "hand me downs" too places he couldn't go because you never know when your number will get called.

Points on a bucks rack doesn't mean its ago lol. More like a sloped back, grey in the face tells its age but still good vid.

Personally I totally disagree with antler Point restrictions you want to hunt you hunt for meat don't disrespect the Animal by how many points he has

If it’s for meat why not shoot a doe…..

Dam it let him go. He would have been a 6 pointer next year.

Maybe. Or, maybe he would be road kill, or, maybe he'd be in some one else's freezer.
