This is the best tutorial I've seen yet, but notice he only adds files that are *DEFINED IN THE APP*. Such as images, videos, defined documents, etc. So if you try to put a TEXT file in there - such as a plain text file that ends with the .TXT extension - oh, it will let you move it there, but you'll never find it again!

Jimmy, Maybe you could do an updated version of this as samsung no longer allows it to be backed up. I found a workaround that only backs up photos, which requires the user to have a synology disk station and running synology photos. There's got to be an easier less expensive way

Yes...you can have 2 totally different sign ins or accounts. Maybe your main one on the regular desktop and a secondary account under the secure folder.

There is a tool that law enforcement use called Cellebrite. They are able to extract all your data from your phone even when it is locked and secured. If you have your bluetooth signal on they can even extract the data wirelessly without you even knowing. My question is if I decide to put my data in the secure folder will they still be able to extract this data or does this secure folder create an extra layer of defense?

Great video. You failed to mention that Secure Folder is ONLY in the phone's internal memory, and cannot be set on the SD card.

I just tried that ...... unfortunately the selected files from sd card will be moved from the sd card and saved in the internal storage of the mobile then later if you move the same file out of the secure folder the system will not return the file to the original place where it came from but will drop it in the internal storage of the device which is bad if you want to secure huge files saved on your sd card

Found a way just uninstall your recent gallery updates from setting and you will find the option in secure folder again they removed the options in new updates. Your welcome 😁

I tried to set up my Secure Folder, but it didn't work. After I enter my account info, it loads, then an error shows up. The error message: "Couldn't create Secure Folder. Something went wrong. If this problem persists, contact Customer Service." I don't know what the proper solution is. I contacted Samsung for troubleshooting, but nothing worked. The only solution I haven't tried is a factory reset. But I don't want to do a factory reset. Any other solution?

Unfortunately its like private mode on the other previous Samsung phone.. You can't secure files on memory card but all on the phone.. Maybe it have some new move and more features but it's still on the phone and this is not active..

You will have to send and receive the messages from secure folder to make them not show any other place, so it will have to be from a contact also in secure folder
