Honestly though good on Pudi for realizing coffee and socks are luxuries not everyone has access to but you can technically live without.

Also, if you live what is often labeled a Western Country (Europe and North America), coffee is not something that can be locally produced, it has to be shipped in. Now, I know there are some coffee-plantations in central America, so in the Southern states of the US it may not be that far, but for the northern states and Canada and, of course, Europe as well, it is definitely a luxury product, just considering the distance it has to travel to reach us. All it takes is a break somewhere in the long supply chain and it becomes a luxury item once again. And I've seen firsthand what some people are willing to pay for an everyday luxury item once it becomes rare. There's a brand of chocolate milk in my homecountry and when they had a problem with supply and demand there were people selling their packages online for much more than what it usually goes for at the store.
