Nauseated by pictures of food eaten just before gastro - a great example of Pavlovian conditioning. Conditioned like rats who were given sweetened water and irradiated (to the point where they feel ill) and then refused to take sweet water other rats enjoy, rats who survive bait nibbling and never get fooled again, or a friend who got a viral gastro just after eating grilled aubergine (which she once loved) and couldn't face it ever again - both species have developed strong systems for rejecting food or dirnk linked to later gastric trouble. Something about being exploring creatures who love not starving, with some who love novel tastes, and all with the associated risk of finding a new way to poison ourselves...
