@ShahzebAliissecretlyL5 жыл бұрын
John Roman right?? Jimmy is an example of 2D thinking - not in a bad way but he's not thinking of what the kid jumping on the cofeee table represents.. It's not about a literal kid on a coffee table it's about the creativity and imagination you have as a person to believe that you can do and be anything. And as you grow older, people tell you what you can and can't do whether it's directly or indirectly, it limits that creativity and holds you back from your potential

For someone who has never heard him speak nor heard his music but has seen the constant barrage of snippets of him, this conversation is an eye opener. He is obviously brilliant and thinks in a complex deeply examining way to find his way of expression. In our times navigating the social expectations and norms while trying to be true to himself must be quite a challenge. He is what many call very eccentric because they can't find the proper word. He comes off a genuinely thoughtful man struggling with good intentions to be a decent human being. That's my take. I'm glad I watched.

John Hurley I don’t think the problem is with the school systems. I feel like it’s also the kids fault. Because schools will try and teach kids things, but these kids don’t want to learn. They don’t want to take the time to sit down and study, to take the time to really prepare themselves. Kids now a days complain, saying math isn’t involved in real jobs when it really is. The only jobs math doesn’t come into play is minimum wage fast food jobs. Students need to try and meet the education system half way and try to learn outside of school. Instead most kids want to go home and do drugs or anything that doesn’t involve knowledge.

My Translation for Kanye: - Society has been formed to condition people into believing and thinking a certain way, so much so that its created division and hatred. Specifically for him, he's talking about the black community and the Democrats' entitled attitude to their vote and allegiance based on the sole fact that they're black. He just wishes people had more love to give instead of resorting to hatred-filled tribalism. - Also, people's behavior seem to be dictated by history, such as with slavery's deep roots that still contribute to how people act today. - School systems have a focus on history, which causes the new generation to tread the same paths for reasons that were years before them instead of being innovative and breaking the norms. Lots more said about simulation, but that was very complex and out there. Basically summed up to that our conscious actions and decisions seem to be played out already in some script by a higher power. (?) Very interesting stuff, and I whole-heartedly agree with where his sentiments are.

Kanye may be good at business and he may have other personality traits, but courage its way different than insolence and egocentric behaviour.

Hollywood is precisely the place where you can express the most ridiculous ideas, and people will just celebrate it as long as you are flamboyant. That does not make you brave. I think what he was trying to say with the simulation thing is, while growing up society crushes your spirit bit by bit until you conform. That's why when you're a positive person, people don't like it because you're different and they want you to be as unhappy as them. As a kid they always tell you to be quiet and it's the convention to not talk back to your parents or teachers. In other words people of authority over you at that age. That's how you create hopeless disillusioned introverted adults that walk the line like drones. And won't hold the establishment accountable.

I feel sad for the people that don't understand how amazing this human being is being right here. So raw, honest and most of all vulnerable.. you can feel him trying his very very very best to really use every moment to communicating something important. Be honest about who he is, what he's been thinking about and the fact that he has visions and dreams. Not only for himself but for everyone. Expressing it on a comedy talk show, in front of a live audience on family-friendly ABC. Not fearing getting laughed at, a loss in status or being judged. You can think what you will of the result but you have to respect and truly admire the love that goes behind the effort. Just that comment.. “Replace pride with love.” This something that more people need to do if we will ever see a positive change in the world! Pride is a huge problem, and people don’t even see it.

Enlightened Perry I’m not a fan, and I do see the irony; however, I agree with that statement. Rush to judgement much?

I don't disagree that we should definitely choose love over hate. But he isn't saying anything new. Too many people look at him like some kind of prophet lol I don't think he's as genuine as he says he is. Do I care that he supports trump? Nah. That's his deal. But maybe he should look hard at the things this admin does and not blindly like him because he went against the grain.

Kanye is a good Dad. Why are people making a big deal out of the Divorce. No family is perfect. Positive vibes is the best we can all. Respect

Nope that's all 100% wrong. He is an evil narcissist who only cares about being rich and famous. Why do you let 15 sentences from someone change their entire history of terrible behavior?
@Anthony-jt2kh6 жыл бұрын
Rupert Murdoch Oh what and are you a saint are you ? Don’t think so. Everyone is on a path of change and improvement. You can’t expect a rapper/creative to be a saint. He is a man on a journey, and as far as he’s concerned he is living his best life.

I’m not a huge fan of Kanye but I really enjoyed this interview. I think it’s great that Jimmy was allowed to ask him real questions instead of just nodding his head.

Kanye is kind of a genius and a blinded guy at the same time. I truly think he has the best intentions but he doesn't necessarily know how to express himself. I think people misjudge him.

Are you for real. Haha. Your lack of intellect must make him seem bright. I am astonished by you words it's hilarious to me. He has average intelligence , nothing more. What has he invented or achieved? He is just passing on others words. Stephen hawkins puts him to shame and he couldn't walk or talk unaided. Get some perspective.
