Thinking of Taylor's children, how awful it is to lose a dad, and his wife whose world just came down. Thinking of the Foos and how much fun they were having bringing joy and music and laughter to so many. So many mourning today. Have been crying since last night. Nobody's life should be remembered for how it ended, but for the journey it was and what they left behind. Taylor left so many smiles, so much music, so much generosity of spirit, recorded for infinity. But it won't be the same without his light in the world. Fly free and rest in beats, sweet man. Deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him.

@zaz25full Жыл бұрын
He looked so thin and tired. I read in the news that the band canceled an overseas performance just a few months before he died, because he was hospitalized. Absolutely seemed to need professional help and an intervention instead of continuing to work so hard or at all. He was also writing lyrics like, "You could say my life's been good, I would say that you misunderstood", "Prisoners don't escape, they just love to die". His words sounded depressing, like a cry for help. It's really incomprehensible from a professional standpoint if he wasn't getting the help he so obviously needed. Also, this interview was posted on his 50th birthday. Why was he working instead of spending the day celebrating? This seemed like a preventable tragedy with clear warning signs. If he relapsed, it's like with any disease: he needed treatment. He shouldn't have been touring. If it meant that he had to be forced out or that the whole tour needed to be canceled, then so be it. If he resisted, it shouldn't have counted. Enabling is one thing, but there's also neglect. Canceling the tour might've been mortifying and it would've cost a lot of money, but it could've saved his life.

Watch Dave’s body language when he explains the movie. His true intentions were shown, despite the audience laughing. Duuuude…when Hawkins said if the movie meant something that’s his intuition 😢
