Ok I'm only a minute and a half in but i just wanted to say thank you Jimmy for actually fully explaining what over centering means. I know what it is but I've seen a lot of comments where people ask because most KZbinrs just tell you it's a problem with the steering rack and move on. Small detail but it's appreciated you take your time to throw some education into the videos.

Hey jimmy you can also just weld new knuckles and get the geometry better. I think the ackerman is way of with the overcentering and the wheel-lower control arm situation is easy to fix by welding the steering rod point further away from the turn point. That way you will have more precise control over where you are turning. Only wins👌👌

Lol my w124 Mercedes was rocking almost the same suspension setup. Maxpeeding front coils and bilstien shock and oem spring in the rear. Just replaced the junk coils with the original shock and spring. Rides sooooo much better

Ever thought about using a skilsaw to cut those plates? I used my saw with an Evolution brand universal blade (yup it's meant to work on steel) and it cut through 8mm steel like a hot knife through butter.
