Such a solid lesson thanks so very much. Attempted this song multiple times over many years only to give up; telling myself key is a bit high for my vocals. Now I have this down and also able to sing vocals. Dock of the bay has me stuck with timing of turnaround.

I never understood why teachers don’t play through the song first before they begin the tutorial. That would be more helpful than listening to the jabbering.

I really enjoyed that lesson. It's a rare thing on KZbin to find a song lesson video that teaches all rhythm. Most everyone wants to learn the lead licks but as everyone always points out, the rhythm is the backbone of the song. Keep up the great videos Jimmy.

Excellent lesson! My only quibble is that at the end of the descending chord sequence of the intro (and repeated throughout the song), I would play that last B chord as an A/B (A chord with B in the bass); I think it sounds better.

Thanks for this excellent lesson: well thought out and easily followed demonstrations. Next song I need to learn (today) is "Harvest Moon" by Jason and the Scorchers. A song I would like to learn is "With A Little Help From My Friends". Phil from gorgeous Young Harris, Georgia, USA

Ok.. I have watched several tutorials on this song, and none capture the essence of the song. No nuance..I will do my tutorial. No offense to anyone.. they just don’t capture it. Go to my channel and watch my performance of this. If you think I should do a tutorial let me know. Peace.
