Around 1996, one of the band members of Looking Glass was a member of The Little River Band. LRB played a concert at a tiny beach-bar on the northern shore of Clear Lake ( near the tiny community of Del Lago - Texas, USA... near Houston ). My girlfriend and I were one of about 10 people in the audience of the outdoor performance. We danced to this song. I always thought there was something special about that song. This rendition is at least as good as the original.

Brandy is one of my all-time favorite songs and I’ve heard countless versions but you guys really nailed it and especially as a musician and so many of my “past lives…I appreciate all the intense artistry and musicality and amazing vocal quality and everything you do… And so great to see you with Reina and Tony, maybe my favorite trio of everything you are involved with but that could change day today every time I see a new video and a new conglomeration of all you’re talented people… And as someone who used to make his own home recordings on two of the old-school Panasonic tape recorders and did multi track vocals and instrumentation and then graduated to doing all that in studios, I can appreciate how you sing and play every part like a modern day Paul McCartney making his debut solo album 🎼🎤🎸🎹🎸🥁🎸
