Glad you picked up on that- I imagine since Brainiac is of kryptonian technology, he would share some kind of similarities to other tech from krypton like the world engine and of course Zod. So there would be this familiar feeling in their themes ;)

I was hoping you would use the World Engine as a basis and this did not disappoint. Low-key hope that IF we get Brainiac as the big bad in what I hope is called Man of Tomorrow that the visual effects harken back to the geometal defenses from MOS.

My thoughts exactly!! He is from Krypton and I feel like they established such a rich overview on the design and feats of their technology in MOS it would only be natural for him to bare some (if not a lot of) resemblance of machines like the world engine.

Superman looks around the strange skull ship, he sees mysterious orbs and small glass domes. A voice speaks "Kal-El, the last son of Krypton.." Superman bolts his gaze behind him. Standing there holding one of those orbs is a tall, 7ft robot. Its body white and purple, its face in the shape of a skull is a dark green with piercing white eyes. "I am Brainiac." It says. Superman notices a emblem on Brainiacs chest. Its Three dots, with a line connecting them, and a...a house of El symbol in the center.
