I am watching as I take a break from setting up my minivan for some car camping, and practicing pitching my new tent. I love seeing how much is on offer in this state - and when I think about why I watch your channel, or any camping/bushcraft channel it's because it helps me learn, find great ideas, and to kind of be there with you when I can't go somewhere myself. And after a messy year of housing issues, it's a reminder that we don't need much, and being out camping is highly enjoyable for a kind of freedom and escape from "it all". This location looked like fun! And relaxing. Sorry to hear you are getting the weird and nasty comments - I just don't understand why people feel the need. I'm glad you bother to take the time to make these videos for those of us who love to view your relaxing adventures. I am well aware of the time it takes to edit. Have a great Xmas and NY and I look forward to tuning in again in 2024.

Wow, what an awesome setup....perfect. The canvas ground tarp really is a nice touch. The land owners were pretty darned smart to put together such great facilities. Eight-thirty check out time is a bit too early though. What was really nice about the pool and sauna was having it all to your self. I am in Louisiana and awaiting possible violent weather....and wishing I was camping but watching you sure helps. This entire summer we were in a record drought and have also been under a fire ban. The ban pretty much kept me from going camping....to me a fire is what it is all about. There is just something about a pot of coffee near the fire and the occasional poke of the logs with a stick. I will definitely check out the propane fire pit. What make is it? Thanks for bringing this old man along. As for snarky comments.....your steering wheel is on the wrong side....juss sayin. 😜

it would be cool to hear you explain some of the things you use. I was curious if those candles you put in those lanterns were for light or big repellent?
@TheMidweekEscapeArtist10 ай бұрын
Both really. I love the ambiance they make and I always use citronella candles in them. No bugs, nice warm light, can’t beat that. ;-) thanks for the comment.
