Awesome looking Jimny. Wondering if you ever tested the regular version of the Jimny on the f-roads before the upgrade? What was your opinion of it in terms of performance, river crossing etc. ?

Hi, very good question👌i bought the Jimny brand new and drove it few hundred kilometers before I had it modified. To make a long story short it was terrible on the so called F-roads (highlands) here in Iceland. The tires are so narrow you can’t even air them down and the stock suspension was really terrible. But it was ok on tarmac. I would never cross Icelandic rivers on a stock Jimny. I just wouldn’t trust it and we have so many stories of tourists in trouble trying to cross unpredictable Icelandic rivers😄 That’s why I did everything I could to modify my Jimny as much as I could. But even so there are still many rivers I would never try to cross because it is so lightweight👍

Both diffs have extended breathers and also the transfer case. And then the Snorkel off course 👍
