I make more ad revenue from my video "Thomas & Friends Arrive In California" than I do from any other video on my channel. So, Thomas & Friends will definitely continue to be a part of the mix around here.
@leokimvideo3 жыл бұрын
@@JimZim Very weird because every video I have had get slam dunked it be a 'Kids" video earns near next to nothing compared to the as income before 'Kids' KZbin ripped apart that side of KZbin. Just about every top toy review producer stopped producing once this change happened. Anyway I notice many people agree with my warning about venturing into anything 'Kids' these days. So sad how this site keeps destroying the ability to be successful here.
@leokimvideo3 жыл бұрын
@@Nico93 I have been on this site long enough to see the really good times and the absolute train wreck it's become today. The KZbin AL & Bots are now basically set to trip you up at every move. If it looks like your becoming popular expect to be smacked down pretty fast. Everyone I know who was producing 'Kids" style videos suffered a 90% drop in ad revenue. The KZbin systems could now see that a video may be made for a 'general' audience. Something that has info for both children and adults. The definition of a 'Kids' video is a joke. The lack of definition for a 'general audience' video is criminal. Jim Zim's video about Thomas going to California hasn't been on the site long enough for him to see the incredible years that were prior to say 2015. But the downfall actually started to kick in at 2012 when 'partner for all' was allowed. That just littered KZbin with rip off scam producers who destroyed the confidence in any advertisers spending money here. I could explain more but sadly so many people just want to ignore my long experience on this site. So enough said.

When we moved up here to Washington from our previous (much smaller) place in California, I ended up buying about $2000 of additional track... just so I'd have enough to run a couple of sets of tracks all the way around our back yard. I haven't had to buy any other track since then.

Moved from Nevada to Texas several years ago. I had a G scale back yard layout in Nevada. And on Halloween I would set up trains on our driveway and side walks as you did here for the kids to see. Oct. 31st is a state holiday in Nevada and the kids are out of school. But the first house we bought in Texas was not layout friendly. Now our second house9 years later has a 2 acre yard and I am now too old to do the the up and down work. I do have tons of engines and cars. About 1,200 feet of track left. I keep saying I will do an elevated layout this time. Hope I get to.
