Have you thought about doing seasons of some anime and putting them up via Patreon or something similiar? I'd pay to have you do this obviously it would take a long time but to "remaster" some older anime would be an amazing project i'd love for the old Berserk anime to be done like this Just an idea something i would do if i had the time and knowledge on how to upscale

I've definitely considered that route time and time again. Picking a show i'm willing to spend a month on is the most important. Knowing what to charge people on Patreon is another aspect I haven't come to a conclusion to.
