So Jin released the original song without the second verse about two years ago for his birthday. It wasn't on major streaming services at the time...just a very funny 1 minute choreography video on youtube. He'd written the lyrics based on things actually said while out fishing with a friend. 😂 Then the song went viral...the funny fish dance was a hit and turned into a viral dance challenge and EVERYONE was doing it. Jin was lowjey horrified, lolol. He came into Weverse and was like, "Please.....please no....please stop spreading it." 😂😂😂 But it was too good and too late. When he got discharged, for festa he performed a new version of it with a second verse. And then of course this music video. Because ARMY loves it and it makes us laugh. But he's terribly embarrassed by it, lolol, and keeps telling us not to spread it around.... as if he could possibly keep this low key between just him and his fans when there are millions of us 😂

Jin became friends with a Korean producer, Bumzu, while working together on Jin's very serious song, Abyss. Jin really LOVES fishing, and he went on a fishing trip with Bumzu and they wrote Super Tuna together for fun that day. Jin was later convinced to actually record it, which he did and released it as a gift to Army on his birthday. You absolutely nailed Jin's character and why he would release a song like this. One of Jin's greatest joys is to give joy to others and he totally nailed it with this song. Jin is amazing and Super Tuna is hilarious.

Yes and to add on, when Jin came back from the military he asked Bumzu to write the second verse and performed it as a surprise for us at Festa 2024! It was so great!!!

I bike about 3.5 miles to work in the early morning. The other day I got a late start, so I had to bike faster than usual to be on time. This song is a mix of Korean trot genre and a Japanese genre (i dont remember the name, sorry) that typically has these game ost\anime ost\highly synth sounds :D Trot is super popular in SK, trot singers place higher on Korean charts than anyone, often even higher than bts, and people of the age of bts basically grew up listening to it as their parents listened to it; this song was first released as a joke basically and Jin is embarassed by it, but ARMYs loved it so much that he gave us a 2nd verse after enlistment :D

This is everything. The fish costumes at the next concert will be epic! I also loved the homage to the screaming cowboy meme. He does have an album coming out. Its prerelease song will debut 11/23 and full album 11-15

He made this for fun on his birthday a few years ago and was SO embarrassed when it went viral. It was so popular, for this years festa, he added a verse learned it in about 4 hrs and recorded it. It was a lucky fishing song that he and a producer friend made while on a fishing trip, on the boat when they took breaks. you should watch the making of.

Jin is fond of Gaming and Fishing. This first verse of the song was released 2 years ago for Armys on his birthday. Armys made it so viral that he scolded Armys to stop it or else he will have to write a second verse. When he got discharged he performed the second verse on the stage where he performed some songs and gave hugs to Armys. The third attempt was this.😂 Jin wasn't proposing. That was a hook and he was asking whether it would bite.
