I felt sad for Jin after reading this comment that his true intentions were misunderstood by some “fans”. Jin’s album was made to make people happy and not for him to just stand out. Jin is a positive person who wants to enjoy what he’s doing and wanted his fans to discover their happiness in simple & small things. I don’t know with you but for me, Jin’s album is a representation of himself as a simple happy person & that’s the character & message of the album that he wants to convey to his fans. If you know Jin, he loves old school music vibes, the reason why his album sounds like 60s - 80s, he does not care about trends or mainstream as long as he’s happy doing it. He said that through this album’s concept, he was able to show what he wants to do in life ie, working in an office.

This album is so good! Every non K-pop friend I introduced the album to, loves the album. And Jin is such an exceptional live performer. Indeed this is the only BTS solo album that I have my entire family humming to all the songs. We play this album on our road trips and like what Jin intended, it really lifts our mood and made us Happy!

Wow.. just by the comment section alone before pressing play, one would've thought this was a BTS anti video. So glad each member said fck all that and did exactly what they wanted to do musically and vocally. I loved and appreciated every moment of it and got to know each member even better. Love Jin in all the genres he's done including and especially these rock vibes which is exactly what this rock fan has been waiting for. The solo collection is complete and this ARMY's heart is jumping with joy. Can't wait to hear Jin live with a live band and live band music. Let's go 💜

The person said Jin was the weakest member of BTS stating that since he has a korean accent, he shouldn’t be doing songs like The Astronaut, I’ll Be There, or Running Wild cause those have western melodies but Jin has a korean accent so he should only stick to songs with a korean melody. Person also said they weren’t ARMY and also not into K-pop. Anyone that disagreed, person wanted proof of knowledge about the difference between BTS, K-pop, pop, other groups, etc. I simply stated that just cause a person doesn’t like a song doesn’t mean it isn’t good or liked by another. Then person wanted proof of my knowledge of BTS’ music to show that I’m not just blindly idolizing them for their visuals. That’s all I can recall from the top of my head but you know ARMY, we keep receipts. I found it so hilarious that a person who isn’t ARMY and not into K-pop has over 100 comments on a BTS and K-pop heavy channel. Lol.

Person was especially unhappy that Jin was the main vocal for The Astronaut as it’s a western song with a western sound not fitting for Jin and his korean accent which makes him sound like he’s just doing a cover every time he performs it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This album was literally one of my favorite solos from the members (but all of them are amazing anyway). I love how he had decided to make a album that was SO HIM and didn't try to stay with the trends. The vocals, sound, and messages in the songs were so well executed. I do not think this is the project I care for to hear backhanded compliments or negative opinions about, especially after seeing some of the comments on here. I know myself and my tolerance and I don't watch reactions to validate my own opinions or validate BTS/Jin for that matter. So I definitely skimmed through the comments of the chat to know which parts of it to skip. For anyone in the same boat as me who still want to watch Jino, I would recommend doing the same. Protect your peace! And know that Jin's work or BTS' will never be affected by some people's opinions on the internet, no matter their supposed "experience." Falling, Heart on the Window and Running Wild are my personal favorites! And I am really proud of Jin, the more I listen to the album in its entirety the more I am in awe and shock over the growth he has exhibited. Happy is already battling to be one of my overall faves from this Chapter of BTS and definitely of 2024.

I have yet to watch the live but I’m already coming into it with a different mindset (as someone who is used to Jino). Ever since RUN BTS, I just knew that there will always be gaps between our tastes and I respect it and the honesty so I always take Jino reviews with a grain of salt. I guess what surprises me is the comments (not from Jino) saying x or x or x genre (as a whole??) doesn’t suit Jin. I actually think he is one of the BTS members who has a grasp on what suits them vocally the most. The Astronaut is so Jin, the U.K. band style suits him so much. Anyway still excited to watch this live! And I’m excited to watch Jin’s showcase later because this album just makes me excited for the live versions (and also because Jin is just almost always even better live).

My opinion is that the full album is phenomenal and diverse , his vocals are outstanding, this is new genre from Korean male singer . I felt 80‘s pop in his songs. But it’s not same as that but translate to now, like fashion trend. Trend alway comes again but change for present. He is a trend setter and pioneer for adopting 80’s with Y2024’s. There's just something about the rumning wold that makes me feel encouraged. Even if the world ends, let's run! It's like the Olympic spirit. There's something about it that resonates with me. The story and tempo of the MV are also very inspiring.

Running Wild will remain the title track due to the album's concept of joy and the spirit of life... And the Jin understands better what he wants from his album... Jin is a fan of Rock music from the time he was young... He really likes Coldplay... And Gary Barlow as the writer of Running Wild is a friend of Christ Martin (vocalist of Coldplay)... Their attachment has been very strong since My Universe until recently.. Dangkanya Jin choose Running Wild as his title track... And one album contains good songs.. Not covering each other.. Has its own characteristics... And I really like all the songs on the Happy album especially Running Wild Another Level and Falling...

Diets are ruining this fandom. I have "Golden" release flashbacks right now. How nasty people were back then, and now, with the "Happy' release, they're doing it again. A bunch of keyboard warriors think they know better than anyone else. It's one thing to have constructive criticism and a totally different thing to be mean for no reason. I really enjoyed this album, and today's live stage was even better! BH needs to promote "Heart on the Window " asap as a single. People are already posting so many edits with this song, and there is so much potential there.

I enjoy Jin in his rock mode. I think he's finally finding his soft rock groove. He's also matured his vocals and feels much more at ease. Jin would do well with musical theatre. He has a voice for musicals and reminds me a lot of Broadway type singers, reasonant, rich and significant range. I find the album sweet. Very Jin. No stand outs. But likeable.

The thing with BTS is, you really get all seven of them. Thank you for this session, Jino! I loved Running Wild through my first, second and third listens during the premiere. Then listened a couple more times to see if there is something I could nitpick, just because he is my sweet boy and it could just be my bias operating. That's why I ignored earlier reactors and waited for you - your knowledge and honesty will balance my subjectivity. So happy you liked it - you said all my heart wanted to hear. Btw, agree on the falsetto - one of the things I admired so much with Bangtan. Jin's falsetto is so smooth and effortless and open, like you said. By way of contrast and with all due respect, I remember I stopped listening to the Bee Gees when they got enamoured of the falsetto because it sounded like they were having their balls squeezed. Also, I love their high notes but am also impressed by what they do in the lower register. Waiting for what he would do with this song later tonight at the live stage. I love Queen so I love Another Level, with belting Jin and all the drama. This is another song that will go down well in a live performance. I don't expect you to love everything so by all means give it a 75 if that's what is warranted for you, it won't change my feelings. I also liked Falling (?), track 4 anyway but OMG, Heart on the Window is soo good. I love how Jin and Wendy's voices went so well together. The way Jin is doing the ad libs and harmonies here feels like he's channeling JungKook. Kudos to PDogg, he got the best out of Wendy's talent; If you listen carefully, you can hear Jin doing some amazing vocal runs while giving Wendy her turn in the spotlight - that's an artist who is confident in his talent, he doesn't have to dominate everything because he does what's best for the song. I bet "I will Come to You" will be another anthemic song for ARMY, you can just imagine the emotion when this is performed live. This song is like coming home after a great party and curling up with your beloved on the comfy sofa. Very well done, Jin! I hope this album receives the success it deserves. Thank you Jino and love to Namu.
