I personally agree King is stupid busted. I did some research and found that it’s likely that a large majority of people in the world are incapable of reacting to kings normal throws. See people look up human reaction time and take the first number they see and apply it to everything in the game, but it doesn’t work like that. The number you get from google is the human reaction time for 1 stimulus 1 response, where as king’s throws are 3 stimulus 3 responses, that drastically increases the reaction time. I found an NIH study that showed that the average time for people to choose 1 of 3 colours as soon as it’s presented is around 550ms, granted this was a reasonably small study, isn’t a huge amount of research I could find on this topic. For reference though, king’s giant throw is 30 frames or 500ms. So already the average person is 050ms too slow to react to king’s grab. But when you factor in the fact that it takes 550ms on average to react to simple colours, you realise that the number is probably much greater from 600-700ms on average for a complex recognition like reacting to what arm is above the other or if both arms are level with each other. That requires both depth perception and complex recognition, which I read somewhere that complex recognition for humans is 700ms on average. But even if you don’t accept that reasoning, the NIH study I think speaks for itself and that alone is enough to prove that most people just aren’t capable of reacting to throws and simply just have to guess a break when they see the Color flash since that’s a much simpler recognition then something complex like arm position. So given this and the fact that throws now can’t be side stepped, and that things like armor and heat dashes/engagers forcing you to take the grab attempt, to me it seems undeniable how busted King is now.

@@susulilith Yeah, there aren’t that many players that are able to consistently react to grabs. You see them in the highest ranks sure, but those ranks account for a very small percentage of players. Most players didn’t even make it past Garyu as the data showed a while back, TMM did a video on it. So I do think large majority is an apt word.

That Bryan player wasnt strong, Bryan is just broken. Hes hard to play but his tools are still way too oppressive, its nearly impossible to approach him when hes played decently as everything he does is safe and has pushback, plus he does way too much damage, especially on the wall. Give it some time and people will realize that hes fundamentally broken

It may or may not be basic, but it works on these high-level players. The play may be basic but the mixups and reads are advanced

Which is probably the best way to play Jin but I've seen Jin players do these flowcharts like they're playing Lars they'll do anything to avoid playing neutral like F4 into Zen Power crush/U1, B3 into Zen Power crush /U1. I could hit him out of Zen like 10 times he'll still try to do Zen U1 whenever he's minus lol.

Everytime TMM plays a Mishima that isn't Kazuya, you know it's going to be a good time. Not that it isn't one when he's playing Kazuya, but he does have an amazing Jin and Devil Jin as well.
