Production Note: These always take a long time in post-production. This time I showed the combiner parts going back to vehicle mode just to round it out and not have it end so abruptly when the combination happens. I actually shot the combination and rotation backwards so it would be properly centered.
Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.

The price that these things are coming in at, not just this set but all the big combiners. Youd think that they would have figured out by now how to get the extra parts like fists, etc to be an integrated part of the transformation.

I hope that one day there's a 3p or official devastator that has the G1 styling but bayverse-y realistic alt modes. There are plenty of great devastators, including this one, but no matter which option you go with they're all a little on the cartoony side.

Most tend to shoot for the original vehicle modes, which are all vehicles from the 70s. I agree it would be nice to see them properly updated.

my faith in hasbro is more then lost since 2021. they are going to release devastator next year. I ASSURE YOU. hasbro will not do something HAS GOOD AS THIS!!

I thought I would be a Hasbro mold completist collector forever, but more and more I skip figures and entire sublines because they are so "meh" for the price. Rather spend my money on nice 3P/MP figures.
