Aespa is the start of SMCU (SM Culture Universe) i believe this is a collaboration between marvel and SMent. The girl in the end of the video is BoA, who will make a comeback in december 1st. Taking the example of Marvel, in each movie they leave a preview of the next movie that is going to come out. The same will happen with the MVs of the SM artists where they will leave trailers at the end of all, to connect the entire Universe of SMCU. And just like EXO, the members of aespa all have their own powers and symbols that represent them: 💗Karina (Yoo JiMin) is the leader of the group, she is a main dancer and lead rapper: her symbol is a heart and her spirit animal is a whale. She is Korean. 🌙Giselle (Uchinaga Aeri) is the main rapper and a vocalist: her symbol is the moon and her spirit animal is a unicorn. She is Japanese. ⭐️Winter (Kim MinJeong) is a lead dancer, lead vocalist and the visual of the group: her symbol is a star and her spirit animal is a Siberian Husky dog. She is Korean 🦋NingNing (Níng Yizhuo) is the maknae and the main vocalist: her symbol is a butterfly and her spirit animal is a tiger. She is Chinese. Fun fact: Yoo JiMin (Karina) was also a backup dancer in Taemin's "Want" MV and she even performed as a backup dancer for live performances of "Want." Just like EXO, aespa's debut sets up the whole group concept and storyline. LOL, yeah what a debut, but I wouldn't expect anything less from SM. Remember how epic EXO's and SuperM's debuts were? If you remember, in SuperM's "One (Monster & Infinity)", in the last scene of the MV we see Taemin with that LG phone and on the phone there is a symbol that appears. At the time, when that MV was released, we had no idea what that meant. However, soon after that, we discovered that the symbol you see on Taemin's phone -- æ -- is actually the logo/symbol for aespa. It now looks as though the end scene in "One (Monster & Infinity)" was meant to be a teaser for aespa's debut. Aespa is a four member girl group whose concept revolves around the fact that their name means "Avatar experience" and each of the girls has an Avatar character, so they also are superhero-like beings. So, if you pay attention to the lyrics in "Black Mamba" you will see that it is telling aespa's story. The Black Mamba they refer to in the song is a dark force that stops them from connecting to their avatars. As the lyrics say, they"synk out," etc. and you see all the glitches happening. The aspea members are trying to overcome the Black Mamba and connect with their avatars again. You really have to pay attention to the lyrics to understand the story they are telling. The way I see it is there are two dimensions: aespa in the real world and their avatars (Kwangya) world. Aespa are connected to their avatars and everything the aespa members do in real life gives power to their avatars. However, because of the Black Mamba's temptation, aespa and their avatars cannot connect through the SYNK app anymore, so their avatars become lost and you see them wandering through the avatar kwangya realm. But there seems to be some sort of crossover between realms as well. For example, in the train scene, aespa in the real world is also being overcome by the Black Mamba. Thier world seems to be in ruins or being destroyed. In the last scene, the avatars seem to be drawn into aespa's real world and I think this is really the start of aespa's whole story. This is where they establishish the fact that aspea, from now on probably, will be spending a majority of their storyline fighting the Black Mamba alongside their avatars. And somehow along the way, SM will start to connect the story with all its other groups' storylines. ✨SM Culture Universe✨ When SuperM released "One" back in September, SHINee's Taemin was seen at the end of the music video holding a phone with a mysterious logo on it (aespa logo). Then, in October, the end of NCT U's recent "Make a Wish (Birthday Song)" music video featured a surprisingly out of place scene: a subway cart filled with flowers. At first, fans thought it may be a hint towards a future NCT concept. While both SuperM and NCT's scenes didn't make much sense at first, they all came together with the debut of SM Entertainment's new girl group, aespa. The group's very first video teaser revealed that the glyph seen in SuperM's "One" was actually aespa's logo. Now, the release of aespa's first title track "Black Mamba" has explained the scene in NCT U's "Make a Wish". The same subway cart appears in the "Black Mamba" music video. And it doesn't stop there. The "Black Mamba" music video has a unique connection of its own: a post-credits scene featuring one of the company's biggest artists, soloist BOA. BOA is set to comeback with her 10th album, Better, on December 1. A scene reminiscent of aepsa's Al avatar concept also appeared in the recent "202020 BoA" video released in honor of BoA 20th anniversary since debut. During a recent press summit, SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man himself introduced aespa as the first project in the SM Culture Universe (SMCU) -a shared world based on the company's artists and concepts. As the name suggests, the concept appears to be cased on Marvel's Cinematic Universe and DC Comics's Extended Universe. Both superhero-based brands have numerous characters, movies, television shows, books, and more which take place in the same shared world. Likewise, it's expected that the SM Culture Universe will link together SM Entertainment's current and future artists. In his statement, Lee Soo Man went on to say that SMCU will express artists and music through storytelling content and is already set to include EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, and more. The group's name, aespa, is a combination of "ae" composed of the English initials of Avatar and Experience (Avatar X Experience), plus the English word "aspect" meaning "two sides", which symbolizes "meeting another self and experiencing new the world". Description for aespa's debut song : Story of adventures unrolled upon the realization that 'Black Mamba’ is a threatening existent to the world and a hindrance to the connection of aespa & 'ae', their avatars. You can see in the MV, suddenly black mamba came to their world. And then karina's eyes change and suddenly move to another scene, I think she is the one who get targeted and get influenced. And after that scene the scene look so dark. And then ae-Karina seems so sad looking to karina but Karina seems so plain and ae-Winter dissappear in the mirror. And then finally they fight back. The one at the end, maybe ae-Black Mamba, new member in the future, or someone who will be important role in the next comeback. We dont know. There is ae with black short hair but we dont know whose.
