16:27 definitely isn't cringe/wince worthy. I thought the whole bit was top tier Lewis dealing with a complicated social situation better than most people would be able to. I'm pretty sure that the clip/segment was actually posted on a subreddit like /r/livestreamfail and most people of course didn't know Lewis but was praising him for talking to and treating someone with a intellectual disability as a normal person instead of being condecending how I feel like most people would be. He's had a few moments like that with intellectual disabled people and it's one of the better things about him.

Man it's such a shame the clip from the Jingle Jam TTT session when Zylus had to go home because he ate a banana (he learned he was allergic that stream) and a drunken Lewis made fun of him by mocking him in a porta-potty he found in-game. It was one of my most favorite Jingle Jam moments but Sjin was in it iirc.

To be fair it probably didn't make it into this video because it has been used so many times on the TTT clips, not because Sjin is in it. They have always blurred his name out, and he didn't actually speak on the clip at all so I very much doubt that's the reason it's not included.

@Xhenix honestly, i think the irl clips should be removed. i get it, its already on the internet, but spreading it around, like they are real people with real lives. apart from that good vid, but the irl market stream clips just sort of bring the rest of it down, the guy's obviously a big fan and very awkward, but this just feels a bit like its publicly shaming him.

The thing is though, it's okay to be a fan, and awkward, and there's nothing wrong with having some sort of mental disability (if I'm using an offensive term, let me know, I think this term is okay, but maybe there's a better word for it), but I think inappropriate behavior should be pointed out no matter what the context might be. Because what this person did was absolutely inappropriate, he crashed a stream, which in itself is okay, but he then continued and acted as if the Yogs were his friends, and kept doing it even after it was painfully obvious that everyone was really uncomfortable with him being there, to the point that (I think) Boba and Lydia had to straight up leave because of him. Thus, I think it's okay to show the clips. Also, not sure how the marketplace clips are bringing the video down, the point of the video is to make you cringe, and those clips are the cringiest clips of them all.

@@eamk887 the better term would be potentially autistic which would explain the behavior. he might not be aware it was inappropriate or that others were uncomfortable with him hanging around after the socially acceptable time was reached. "painfully obvious" is something that people with autism struggle with. this wasn't the first time people had crashed the stream and at this point it was basically a feature of the market stream to turn up, say hello and maybe lewis will buy you some random food. all of which to say that if this is true then it isn't necessarily his fault that his behavior made others uncomfortable and we certainly shouldn't be mocking him for it.

Anyway, as both of us has said, it is possible that he is autistic, but my point is that that does not give you an excuse to behave inappropriately. Like, I completely understand that autistic people might not always understand how the things they do affect others, I've even had personal experiences with those kinds of situations, but that's still not an excuse, and when an autistic person does something inappropriate, it needs to be called out. Autism isn't, and shouldn't be, just a free pass to be a dick. And I do agree that we shouldn't be mocking him, and I never actually said we should, but reading these comments, I don't see anyone really mocking him. Like, I don't see anyone mocking him directly for not knowing that he's cringe, or that he doesn't understand that he's making others uncomfortable. At most I've seen people calling the clips he's in cringe, which they are. And I don't think this is automatically because he's autistic, it's more the actions he chooses to do. I just want to reiterate, I think we absolutely should be empathic towards autistic people, since they sometimes do things they don't understand completely, but like I said before, we shouldn't also give them a free pass when they do something inappropriate. Like, it isn't necessarily his fault that he made people uncomfortable, but he still made people uncomfortable, and it's okay to point that out.

@@eamk887 I am on the spectrum and have neurodivergent friends and he comes across like he may as well be neurodivergent or have some learning difficulties. It is very hard to read people most of the time and if they aren’t directly saying “thank you for coming out to see us and donating I hope you enjoy the rest of the market we are going to go now” sort of thing he may just keep tagging along thinking it’s okay to do so. Also may be to do with parasocial relationships and not understanding boundaries but I’m not him so it’s pure speculation. Regardless it’s not an excuse to say I’m autistic therefore I get a free pass to be inappropriate, but it’s up to those around them to set the boundaries and relay them to an autistic person so they know what’s acceptable. But the fact he’s immortalised forever on the internet as “the creepy cringe guy on jingle jam” he probably got the message.

Most of your compilations are funny but some clips here involving the public seem a bit insensitive to include. Not the first time this channel has walked that line. I can't help feeling a bit sorry for the people that may regret and cringe at their past selves being brought up again and again for all to laugh at. They probably didn't expect to sign up for this sort of treatment when they appeared on stream those years ago, yet those interactions entertained us and helped raise money. We've all behaved in ways we later cringe at but at least they're not displayed and played again and again years later, think sometimes we need to move on.
