Basically Eugene was running a Sans Amped bass signal in parallel with a signal that is the attack portion of the Sans Amp tone but sent through an ENGL amp sim on his Line 6 Helix and panned hard opposite of the side of the stage Roman is on to give an illusion of two guitar sounds in a live context. He added the MXR distortion pedal over the last album

With a bass patch like that the bass signal is split into two signal paths one with a high pass filter. Because the distortion rarely sounds good on the low frequencies. You can either have two paths lows and highs or one full range bass and the other just highs. Once the highs are separated you can put all sorts of effects on it to get different tones including doubling or chorus. Eugene is perfect for a three piece instrumental because he's so good at filling in holes either with his playing or his tone.

The middle one of the 'toms' on Vlad's right (our left) is actually a piccolo snare, tuned even higher than Vlad's usual high snappy snare sound.

Good morning from New England... This is a hella cool vid man...Imo Eugene is the Cliff Burton of this era...I saw Jinjer a yr ago last November and they just slayed it...Vlad is such a monster and I agree that little bell hit right before the vocals brings to mind Mario Duplantier...If you look closely you can see Vlad has 2 hihats on the left side..The 2nd one is angled low to the ground and is obscured by a cymbal which he controls with his left foot and is used in some of the softer passages in many Jinjer songs and also live to give the tunes more texture..Im loving these X2 & 3 part vids...Peace from the Northeast 👍✌️🤘

funny that they have a song called copycat while they have an entire song based on a gorira riff ' from planned obsolescence " ( enfant sauvage album ) i can't remember the name though . ps: i like jinjer :)

....great react an comments....may be eugenes bass has that cagey sound because of low action...low tuning plus a heavy right hand...fret buzz...in a band for many years and my bass had that same albeit no where near as proficient sound as his...(my band mates were not too fond of it but many in the audience loved the brutal sound...lol).....and on the studio stuff they just filter it out...but you can hear it on the live raw stuff...peace man...subbed....
