In the eastern Slavic tradition - a green serpent is metaphorical for alcohol, comes from mixing up serpent the tempter and "green wine" cause wine used to be made out of green grapes

@@cooltechnicianWhy do you think so? Checked lyrics several times. Story is ok, but words chosen just does not sound good. Does not flow nicely together with music. Sounds forced, lacks some easy flowing. In some places needs to be rushed syllables and some forced longer than needed. And words used to describe topic of the song just does not fit my taste. What you do not understand here?

I have no idea who these lines are reaching, but I would like to use this text to reveal my love for this band because I would like to express my emotions and my gratitude and share my thoughts with like-minded people. This band has become so incredibly important to me that I can hardly put it into words. Tatiana's lyrics are as if someone else can put my feelings into words so that I can understand them better myself. No song is without meaning that I cannot get something out of, which is why I don't have a favorite song from the last three albums because I couldn't decide. I feel such a connection to the music that I myself cannot share it with people. It may sound regrettable to others, but the songs give me the support I can't give myself or others in difficult times. Nothing in this band's titles is arbitrary or coincidental, whether it is Tatiana's changing sound or the use of instruments that is intended to give what is being said a deeper expression. The rhythm is unpredictable, no autotune, no unnecessary artificial noises, just 3 instruments in their raw form and a voice. I listen to the songs over and over and still have as much fun as when I heard them for the first time. I now know every interview and every live concert and Hellfest 2022 is my absolute favorite with the Wacken appearance in 2023 (the growl at the end of Vortex makes my brain vibrate every time :)), Hellfest 2023 and the Olympics in France). I have also seen Audiotree's live session several times. The feeling that rises up in me when Tati uses her deep growl technique is like a roller coaster ride and I get goosebumps from my feet to my scalp, which is reproducible and addictive. Tati's voice is like a hug from an angel from heaven and an encounter with a demon from hell at the same time. The songs turn me from an introverted person into an extroverted person for a few minutes. When I'm feeling bad, I listen to Wallflowers and afterwards I always feel better. I've only been to one Jinjer concert and I couldn't believe the atmosphere this band creates live. All four band members have such a great stage presence. I wish I could have behaved and gone wild during the songs like I do at home, but unfortunately I couldn't ignore the other people at the concert :). I saw Eugene live before the concert while eating pizza and I was nervous. I had a ring engraved with Jinjer and wanted to give it as a gift when I see a band member, but I was too nervous and didn't want to disturb their privacy. When a new song comes out, I go into relaxation mode out of sheer anticipation and enjoy the adventure. The first time I just listen to the voice, the second time I listen to the drums, guitar and bass, and only the third time do I pay attention to the song as a whole work. Then I try to interpret the lyrics with the band's background. Listening to Jinjer is like reading a good book. I am also fascinated by the band's personalities; none of the four stand out in a negative way; they all seem very likeable and down-to-earth, and their perspectives on life in the interviews are very enriching. Speak Astronomy and Pisces made me aware of the subject of astronomy, which is very interesting, and who knows, maybe my connection to the band has something to do with it. All four have contributed equally to the band's success. I hope they don't overdo it with the immense number of gigs, and I wish for nothing more in this world: that everyone stays healthy, is happy, and that the four continue to get along harmoniously with one another and create new songs. I'm looking forward to another Jinjer tattoo next year, as the band will always be a part of me. I'm still working on my English, but I hope it was understandable. Thanks also to all the fans who make sure Jinjer keeps getting bigger. Thanks also to Sasha, who always ensures a great live sound, as well as Max Morton for the good recording quality in the studio and the entire team that make Jinjer what they are. Peace for Ukraine long live Jinjer. Thank you for being there; you make the world a better place ❤️ and motivate me and others to keep going in these times. 🤘 I'm really looking forward to February 7th.

You are not alone with those thoughts. Every notion about the band, members and their music I can agree on. I found them 2017 here in youtube and that was a revelation. As a Finnish person, metal music comes with the "mother's milk" and I've listened to a lot of it all my life. But Jinjer is not just mere metal, it's a completely new approach and attitude to the aspects of heavier music. Their works have rekindled my love for listening and making music - something I used to do some decades ago but somewhat burned out. I can't or don't even feel the need to pick any favourites. The whole discography is something I can listen through any day and never feel any need to skip any songs (except the album version of Pisces - Vlad's work is just undeniably better on the live session). Can't wait to get my hands and ears on this upcoming album! EDIT: I don't consider myself as a massively obsessive personality, but my favourite past time is watching people finding out about Jinjer. The playlist of watched videos is closer to 10k now. I especially love the moments when fellow musicians/composers/producers and other music lovers get introduced to their discography and bit by bit start falling in love.

It is the same quality of perennial. I don't like everything from them because too metal core and "djent" sometimes. I love heavy metal, melodeath, power, thrash, blackgaze, gothic . Clean vocals and screams and growl have to blend not just and singing about something political, philosophy, love, death or just tripping and bring you somewhere else. In flames, darkest hour, soil work, dark tranquility, gojira, novembre, opeth, alcest, lacuna coil, arch enemy, helloween (underrated band in USA as all power metal that it was the standard for Italia, European and south America and Japan too for judging a voice a guitarist)... Just djenty brutal core or redneck metal is boring and pathetic sometimes. Or worst sabaton (war enthusiastic kinda fashist well helloween were anti-war or epically make you feel to fight evil and hypocrisy out of this world! ) and rhapsody epic initiation DragonForce (cool first album and then heroes of our times soft power 😢) Libertarian was against war as Metallica of for whom the bells toll (Hemingway), fight fire with fire, disposable heroes, one Now libertarians voted trump or melei 😅 ridiculous This lyrics of jinjer makes me think they are more deep than their, our leaders ...zelienski, Putin, Meloni, biden, Trump and finally understand that we follow only green serpent ! That's powerful and heavy and what we need That's what real heavy metal said from Sabbath to maiden, from Metallica to Megadeath, sepultura and angra, helloween and blind guardian and scorpions, gojira, novembre and lacuna coil and rhapsody too Fuck the war and never surrender!

As someone who has been listening to rock ‘n’ roll/metal since 1974(I was 8) This band is by far my favorite right now. In my opinion, Jinjer is the most underrated band in music today. Every musician is top-notch and Tatiana‘s vocals are second to none. Every time I see a new festival lineup or tour, It’s kind of irritating seeing how far down Jinjer usually is. Same... a friend and sometimes band mate of mine opened for them a few times with his band when they first started touring in the States and he sent me some of their early stuff to check out. Even Jinjer Junior had something a lot of the metal bands now don't have and I am not even sure what it is. Maybe work ethic? They bust their asses non stop and have for many years. Not a lot of people who are casual listeners know that, I think. This band has been working for a long long time without any real breaks

What a great band. And not just because of their dynamic, one of a kind singer. The band is really good musically. After listening to these guys for at least 6 years, it still amazes me they aren't more popular. They got it all. But I guess that's what happens when you don't sell out and create true art.

Ahhh, Tati, how I stan thee still! One of the best voices in metal and one of the most beautiful women in metal , and the lads bring the dynamite as usual, musically. The sense of swing and groove that is present here is sublime. Kinda jazzy, and we know how our girl Tati loves to sing her some jazz. I need to get caught up, I think, it's been a minute,

I managed to get my 14 year-old daughter to sit down and listen to Jinjer and early Pink Floyd. It was a revelation to her and she loves the messages in "Someone's Daughter" and "Wallflowers". She had no idea that such music existed, everyone her age that she knows just listens to pop and rap. I think she'll love this new track - beauty and power.
