They just announced that they'll be releasing the video for The Prophecy on the 15th. The video they released a week ago of Sit Stay Roll Over live in Melbourne is incredible. It was never one of my favorite Jinjer songs, but that performance is such fire it puts it in my top 3. Cheers!

I wholeheartedly agree on Sit Stay Roll Over. I considered it a 'good' song (pretty low in the ratings for me concerning Jinjer), but yes, that live performance is something to behold. Looking forward to Alive in Melbourne's release!

@@sike8156 there is extra distortion in the album version compared to live, while prior live performances I'd heard were pulled back a bit too much. That one was perfect.

​@@j.f.fisher5318 See, for me, "Sit Stay Roll Over" was my introduction to Jinjer, and tbh it didn't leave a good impression. It wasn't until I heard other tracks (particularly through reaction channels) that I went back, gave them another look and ended up loving them (even if I still don't really like that song) Spiritbox was similar, didn't particularly like Belcarra when first being introduced, but came to love them through other tracks, with Belcarra being okay at best for me.

You should check out Porcupine Tree. The songwriter/guitarist/singer of the band (Steven Wilson) produced a couple of Opeth's albums. He and Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth are good friends. Alright first, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Tati and the boys. Having said that I listened to all three and was gonna rate them but music should always be more than a competition. Porcupine was interesting but I couldn't get thru the whole thing sorry. Opeth, I've been out of the scene for some time and I understand they get much respect from the metal nation so if you've got another suggestion. Mastodon? Holy fuck.
