I love this band. I follow the band and pretty much everyone connected them to them on Instagram. There is a particular fan site I also follow and I'm sure it is a younger woman who runs the site and she pours her heart and soul doing it. I couple times she has posted how upset and discouraging it is when there a few guys who constantly post crude shit about Tatiana. As a guy I can't really understand how a couple guys talking shit could break her spirit but they do. I have quoted this song to her and it seems to calm her and help her continue. I suspect Tatiana faces the same thing. This band is her life and I'm sure there are people who find a way to talk shit to her. There is another reactor who described Jinjer as "aggressive jazz musician's". What the band does, what Tatiana does, is something special (at least to me) and I think this song is about the frustration they must feel when it is clearly wasted on some people. There will always be some people who are like pigs and will never appreciate the pearls that are presented to them...

That's awesome Mike and I agree with your sentiment and conclusion. I will say I'm apart of a Jinjer nation facebook group and I get super mad by the way some people post crude or sexually suggestive comments or pictures of Tatiana. Basically Simps

To those who do not know the saying "casting pearls before swine" is a basic reference to basicly wasting your time by offering something to someone who doesnt understand or appreciate it. So from that reference you can pick through the lyrics to see what or who she may be talking about.

I think she's speaking more of guarding yourself to what you say and who you say it to, because some won't appreciate your intentions or that you are trying to show them another point of view. Casting pearls before swine in this case can be that, or those who have no intention of being friendly- kinda like the woke crowd, who have no intention of listening to another point of view. They're right and that's it, you're wasting your pearls on swine.

I think she has probably one of the best death metal voices in the business. But there is one Swedish band named Opeth. They are very big in Europe. The vocals of their frontman are fantastic, cleans and growls. And as a bonus he's a brilliant guitarist. I think he's fantastic and one of the important examples Tatiana used for developing her own enigmatic voice. When you gonna try Opeth one day, you will, I recommend you Master's Apprentices or Ghost of Perdition ( studio or live, in this case it doesn't matter). Have fun.
