Tatiana can go deeper and still sing like an angel. Band is exceptional and Tatiana writes great lyrics too.

Good reaction. The rabbit hole here is deep. Standard list: 'Perennial" (live Wacken) "Teacher, Teacher" (official) "Who is Going to be the One" If you are still in doubt of if it is her then One-take version of "Judgement & Punishment" "Home Back" is really good and I love "I Speak Astronomy".

Jinjer is the band, the vocalists name is Tatiana, Roman on the guitar, Eugene on the bass and Vlad on the drums. The band itself is around for over a decade, but only managed to gather international attention when this song went viral on reaction channels, due to its uh, surprising nature in composition and vocals. This live session however is actually a re-recording of an older song, and was meant to show off their (at the time) new drummer, which unique style made the song sound quite a bit different to the original. The video description has a little bit of information on the creation of this too. Metal lovers of course quickly noticed the whole bands talent, and so they have been basically blowing up ever since the release of this video, and are gathering a very passionate fanbase around them (#JinjerArmy). I'll drop my usual recommendations if you want to check out more, Perennial live at Wacken is probably the next best reaction for you. Official video suggestions: Teacher, Teacher I Speak Astronomy Pit Of Consciousness Cloud Factory Retrospection No Hoard Of Value (official lyric video) Home Back Sit Stay Roll Over Live suggestions: Perennial live at Wacken Who Is Gonna Be The One live On The Top live in Kiev Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev Judgement & Punishment live in Melbourne

Hahaha nice reaction guys. That is all 100% Tatiana. The name of the band is Jinjer, they are from Eastern Ukraine so Russian is their native language. The members are Tatiana (vocals), Eugene (bass), Roman (guitar), and Vlad (drums). They are a phenomenal band, Tati gets the most attention because of her incredible vocals, but make no mistake, the guys are equally talented. This video is a "live session" which it is, it's not actually "live" however. It was recorded in a studio, and their is some vocal layering on Tati's vocals, but it is like I said 100% her. If you guys choose to react to more Jinjer, you won't be disappointed, they literally don't have a bad song, some songs are really heavy, other are not, but each one is fantastic. I would suggest reacting to either "Perennial" live at Wacken open air 2019, or my personal favorite Jinjer song which is "Pit of Conciousness" live in Kiev/Kyiv. Both are fantastic and you can see for yourself just how incredible they are live. Peace and as always, stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

I love it when people think they know where the song is going to go and think they are right when it changes and then realize they had no idea haha. Lots of editing here, but the proof is in the pudding and the pudding is their live shows. I've been fortunate to see them twice and this isn't even her low growls. First show I was standing next to a stack of speakers and felt her low growls shake my bones - that was Who Is Gonna Be The One, btw, which was already my favorite song by any band but now omg. Perennial live at Wacken is another great next step to see them on stage with a bit more emphasis on cleans compared to some of theirs but still epic growls. The growls are done with the false cords, so if learned correctly it doesn't cause damage, that said, a lot of the OGs, including Angela Gossow on the female side damaged their voices figuring out how it all worked. Regardig "skittish" this is about her, when she isn't in her metal goddess persona she is shy and battles chronic depression. And you haven't heard alll of her voices. :D Subbed. Cheers!

Welcome to Jinjer. Yes that's her growling. I think Perennial live at Wacken shows her talent well. My favorite for her low growls is Pit of Consciousness live at Kiev.

Dive into Jinjer and you’ll find there’s nothing they can’t do as a band. Tatiana does a lot vocally, but the band is equally as talented. It’s definitely real. Do “Perennial” live at Wacken to see what they can do live. That’s just for starters.

All of that comes from many years of self-learning, practice and discovering that your anatomy allows you to produce those sounds, but also a good clean vocal foundation, a unique timbre and lots of non-Metal influences (Reggae, Rock, Soul, Jazz, etc). That's Tatiana's voice in a nutshell. : )

Trust me, there's no damage in her. The thing is, there are many ways to do this wrong in an unhealthy way that will indeed damage your vocal cords, but there is also a good and healthy way. No, it's not easy. And she's real and that's her voice. I suppose if you watch some live recordings, those will convince you :)

Tatiana is very introvert off stage, last I heard her boyfriend is the drummer from Suicide Silence, Alex Lopez. You check them out if you haven’t before, they are a very band as well. Tatiana is the queen of metal at the moment. Check out Otep, she was the inspiration for Tati to teach herself how to do the false chord and fry scream singing. But also the rest of the band are super talented. They write the music, she just writes the lyrics and then sings. (There are a few songs that Eugene, the bassist helps out on). Seriously the lyrics to all the songs would be a phenomenal coffee table book, poetry with meaning. Phenomenal talent across the board and I’m so glad to see them getting the respect they deserve🤘🤘🤘

Great reaction. Enjoyed it. One note on the 'gutteral' comment. The 'gut' has nothing to do with (harsh or clean) vocal sound production (except when hungry or gassy, but the sound is coming out the wrong body parts). At best, the gut affects breath support (abdominal muscles and the diaphragm) for vocals of any kind (including harsh ones). Having something wrong with your gut is in no way going to make you growl better ... that all happens at and up from the 'voice box (larynx, aka adam's apple). That is a fun (and pretty hilarious) urban legend, but legend none the less. Languages other than English don't have the expression 'gutteral' and nobody thinks your gut has anything to do with sounds coming out of your mouth (except for burping). Just saying ;-)

Only thing in this vid is layered vocals in places
@TomClark-Futoura3 жыл бұрын
You do know that layering vocals has been pretty much standard practice for recording every singer for years. So I guess it's really not a "thing" anymore. And it's not considered an exception or a negative for Tati, as I'm sure you know. ;-)
@rickstrawser92783 жыл бұрын
@@TomClark-Futoura just saying I think the layering takes away from her that's why I think she sounds better live
@Dark__Thoughts3 жыл бұрын
@@TomClark-Futoura The problem is that people read "live session" and think that means "raw audio". It's a bit of a tiring misconception. Even the high quality live videos have additional mixing and polish, not just the one from Jinjer of course, but people need to learn that live and raw audio are two different things.
@TomClark-Futoura3 жыл бұрын
@@rickstrawser9278 I know what you're saying. But layering (doubling, harmonies, and a host of other effects like delays, echo, reverb, compression, etc.) are used live along with instrumental backing tracks and clicks, etc. To me, none of that takes away from Tati's (and the guys) awesome voice and performance. It's just how you put on a good show. We both have heard some of Jinjer's early 2011 - 2014 concerts where it was more of a stripped-down, raw performance and know just how powerful Tati's growls and cleans are just using her mic and house PA.
@TomClark-Futoura3 жыл бұрын
@@Dark__Thoughts Yeah. In fact, from my recording experience, raw vocal tracks are scary... especially my own. We used to send everyone out of the control room before we could gin them up. ;-)
