I have been a Jinjer fan for 7 years now. The Jinjer rabbit hole is one well worth diving into. What I understand this video was a response to an interview she did on Ukrainian television where the interviewer was was trying to do a hit piece on her and the band and was trying to to be accusatory towards her for being an ethnic Russian. She and the band wrote this song because they felt that they were being ambushed.

Tatiana even wore the same exact outfit for the music video that she wore in that "ambush" interview. Which is quite telling.

Well, she is a professional. She taught herself harsh vocals, and even now there are not that many who can teach you how to do it. You just have to play with your voice smartly.

It's amazing but yes she is self taught. She's been doing it for 15 years now but she couldn't tell you how she does it if you asked her. She just knows when the sensations are right. Tatiana lives in the US in the LA area with her husband Alex. The other members were stuck in Ukraine when the full scale invasion started but were later allowed to leave, tour and raise money as official cultural ambassadors of Ukraine. The male members live in Eastern Europe. They are on a European tour right now. They finished their US tour a few weeks ago.
