Her name is Tatiana Shmailyuk The next - "JINJER - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Live) | Napalm Records"

It is good to see them in a concert setting to see what Tati can really do, and they've performed live so much that I feel like they are better on stage than in the studio. Who Is Gonna Be The One really shows off the power of her growls so it is quite a treat.

you've seen "Pisces" which is most reactors introduction to Jinjer and you've just seen "Teacher Teacher" their most recent video, there's your outline...all you need to do now is color in the middle and check out the rest of their videos....the rumors are true, they don't have any bad songs....enjoy

I discovered Jinjer only this January, and, they quickly moved to the top spot in my playlist. It's all the more odd, because, I am not into modern metal, like, AT ALL. "Metalcore" bores the living Hell out of me, it all sounds the same. I'm an old, cynical, punk/hardcore guy. Jinjer is the first band to come along in a decade, at least, that has grabbed my attention. They're just THAT good. They're just insanely talented, all of them. They seem to be bringing such diverse influences to it, I hear jazz, and, A LOT of Prog. In a genre that has grown as stale & boring as metal/metalcore they stand WAY out from the crowd. Also, Tatiana is a vocal powerhouse, and, a brilliant lyricist. As an old punk, one of the reasons I like them so much, is lyrics that have actual meaning, relevance to real, important issues. Not dumb-ass fantasy garbage.

Dont let the school make a fool of you, because the teachers may be fools too. A really profound statement and the genius of Tati as a lyricist. It applies to me in so many different situations and I actually have this printed out and see it everyday.

Just a heads up, this is not live. It's the album version spliced into concert footage. The editing is so good you would never know, except for her different outfits she's wearing.

Great job. You really should watch some of their official concert footage. That's where you really get to see what they're really all about. I recommend "Words Of Wisdom" or "Who's Gonna Be The One".

Tatiana has mentioned Cypress Hill as an influence. She has a thing for Native American music too, if I remember correctly. An eclectic lady.

They are the best! Tatiana has it all! The best front IMO. Better than Corey Taylor.
@mikea19895 жыл бұрын
Yeah the start of the song is very similar to the style of bands like Otep or Kittie, who were around in the 90's. Difference is that they had nowhere near the potential that Jinjer has.
