Don't get better than Roy Khan. Most emotion of any singer. This song is about a real person Queen Elizabeth that bathed in her Young servants blood to try to stay young.

Oh awesome! Thanks for reacting to this song, I'm glad you like it. This is one of my favourite Kamelot songs. It showcases Roy's voice beautifully; the way he can manipulate his voice to convey different emotions and characters. If you want more Roy I suggest Memento Mori live in Belgrade. Another great one! Incidentally, the band Epica is named for one of Kamelot’s classic albums. It’s a two part concept album that tells a Faustian story of making a deal with the devil, so to speak. Part one of the story is the album Epica and part two is The Black Halo. Both are often regarded as Kamelot’s best work. I don’t wanna come off like those ravenous Nightwish and Tool fans (even if I am one), but Nourhan is spot on with suggesting Revolution Live in Japan for a Tommy song, if you wanna keep checking out Kamelot.

A fun fact, well several actually. Epica and Kamelot tour together often. The keyboardist for Kamelot is Simone's significant other. Check out The Haunting by Kamelot featuring Simone .

Hey my dude. I don't know how far you are from St. Petersberg, but Kamelot will be there on October 12th with Sonata Arctica and Battle Beast. I went to the show in Massachusetts the other night and it was killer! If you can swing it, I would highly recommend going! Speaking of Battle Beast, it's a band you should check out. They are alot of fun. The songwriter for Beast in Black used to be in and write for them. I recommend either King for a Day; Bastard Son of Odin; or Straight to the Heart!

The song is about the Countess Elizabeth Bathroy, AKA the countess of blood. She is alleged to have murdered 600 young women and bathed in their blood in black magic rituals to preserve her youth and beauty. This was Hungary, 15th century

The new singer is good but in Seventh Wonder not Camelot. There is no replacing Roy Khan... no more than you can replace Peter Steele in Type O Negative
